Sunday bruch - Thai delacacies

My high school daughters and I enjoy Asian foods and especially this exceptional Thai restaurant just south of Old Town Pasadena. We always select the chicken panang, combination seafood, and jasmine rice plus a few Thai iced teas. It is family owned and always a favorite on the weekends. The... read more

Saladong is an unpretentious little spot on Fair Oaks that you can't go wrong with. Service is quick and friendly. A bit tight in space but who cares, you're there for the food not a dance floor. Try the beef with peanut sauce! Hmmmm. That's all I eat when I go, can't go wrong.

My sister and I came here after touring the Gamble House for a late lunch. We were seated on the ultramodern front patio of the restaurant. I can't remember everything we had but I know there was a tasty green curry. I think we ordered three or four dishes. My sister wanted to try the soft-shell crabs. They were nicely... More

Had dinner here recently and had a nice evening with friends. The service was great and our server was attentive. However, the food was just ok. Had the stuffed chicken wings - different and tasty. The green salad was average with veggies and dressing. For the entree, I had the panang curry with peas and shrimp. I added veggies as... More

Parking is easy (a plus in Pasadena). I have been to Saladang Song and Saladang (right next to each other - Song has seafood specializations - but mostly the same. It is good Thai food. Very good price, quick service. Not the best, but great for a quick lunch or dinner.

This is the best Thai Tom Yum Seafood Soup you will ever eat. Packed with every kind of shell fish you can imagine. The best flavors. Spicy too.

Been going here with my family and friends for over a decade. Hard to find better Thai food anywhere in the LA area. The service is lovely, and it's a great place to share food family-style, or eat dishes separately. You cannot go wrong with any of the dishes at Saladang, especially the curries; they are my personal favorites!

Loved the Tum Yum Soup and the curries are delectable. The prices are fair and the service is excellent. Would have preferred refills on Iced Tea. Otherwise, everything was great. Thanks.

If you are looking for a casual, better quality Thai meal, without spending the rent money, give Saladang a try. Freeway close to Santa Anita race track and the Rose Bowl, its a good choice for a spot to hit before/after a game or the races. Its a great place to enjoy a meal in the company of family and...
