Great experience

A solid 4 star restaurant- we would definitely return. The location is a bit hidden, limited parking. When we arrived we had to valet. Echoing one of the other reviewers, we valeted our car only to find it located literally 3 feet from where we left it when we went to pick it up after dinner. The... read more

we are new to pasadena and tried out this classic restaurant last night it was excellent. we had a reservation and were seated immediately. the one mistake of the evening was where we sat. it was a HOT day and while we were asked where we wanted to sit we were kind of steered to the patio; which is beautiful,... My first time here and we enjoyed a great lunch. We made reservations, and parked on the main street. 2 of us had turkey sandwiches that were very good, on dark, sweet bread with sprouts We added the avocado and the bacon which was delightful (about $15). The other had the salmon salad with yellow beats, and she licked the... More

A rustic lodge slightly downhill from street level hides a great Bloody Mary, tasty egg dishes, and a covered outdoor seating area that feels like a cool oasis - a perfect place for a brunch date! (And many dishes can be modified to suit your diet, upon request.)

We ate here for brunch with two other couples and everyone liked the place. It has kind of a classy, elegant feel yet casual. There was street parking (but it's just down off the street so hard to see) and they had valet. We ate outdoors on the patio. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast except the Huevos Montuleños so I would... More

A hidden gem in Pasadena California, The Raymond Restaurant is in an old house from 1886. For breakfast, they have unique Eggs Benedicts... The Hash Eggs Benedict (photo) was scrumptious!

This is one of my favorites - especially for brunch. Very comfortable relaxing atmosphere - excellent servers, valet parking. An easy winner. Go there!

The Raymond is a Craftsman house converted to a restaurant, with seating inside and out. The patio was covered and had heaters and windscreens. Service was friendly but not speedy, don't be in a hurry here. Several unique dishes were on the menu, including Italian Baked Eggs and Dutch Baby pancakes. Apple fritter were very good as were the blueberry... More

This is a charming restaurant in a converted old home in Pasadena. The menu has a wonderful range of selections and the service is very good. The acoustics however are terrible. When I made our reservations I specifically asked for a quiet table. We were in a booth, in a crowded corner and the noise was unbearable. I couldn't hear... More

Being a Pasadena resident since 1993, I ovelooked The Raymond because of its lack of curb appeal. In fact, there is no curb appeal, as you must park on the street, valet is an option, and then walk down a slight 5 degreeish hill. One sees as you approach the establishment the outside sitting area. I have avoided this area,... More
