Argentinean style menu - California food and service

A casual, Argentine-style restaurant at the western end of Old Pasadena serving a beef-dominated menu. You can eat at the small counter or at tables. If you like empanadas, steak, and dulce de leche, you will be very comfortable here. It's not too noisy, and you can hear the classical guitar music... read more

Went for family birthday dinner - party of 8. Service was fine - they quickly took our orders and served the food promptly. Most of us ordered the pre-fixe/ skirt steak - after all, beef = Argentinian food! The risotto croquette appetizer were very good in a yummy, creamy tomato sauce. The skirt steak entree was OK. The meat was... More

Good Argentinian beef and more. Dark and quiet place. Enjoyed the champignones and verduras al grill Prices moderate, considering the area. The beef was done perfectly and served with some nice sauces.

The value for the quality of meat was excellent. I was surprised they were charging $22-24 for their steaks. They were good, but not outstanding, but the value was. I had the rib eye (Bife Ancho) which was quite tasty, but thinner and somewhat less tender than expected. The skirt steak (Entrana) was more tender and really good with a... More

The food is very good. The menu is limited but pricey. It has a hip patio where you can bring your pooch and they will bring a doggy bowl of water.

We stumbled on this restaurant while strolling through Old Pasadena. There were other known and tried restaurants around but we just wanted to try something new, so we headed here. Argentinians are well known for their cooked meats, and more especially, their roasted beef; and true to form the roasted meats at 1810 were all good, but the steaks stood... More

We had dinner here while visiting the Pasadena area. We ordered the entrana with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. The meat was cooked to perfection and had an awesome flavor. We did put some chimi churri on it which was also very tasty. The wait staff was very attentive. Over all the experience was pleasant and would return here again.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. Ordered empanadas appetizer. Filling tasty but dough thick and tough. Ordered a ribeye that was pretty tasty but I slathered it with the chimichurri sauce that made it amazing. Side dish of rice pilaf was just so so. Street parking in Pasadena is a challenge but sometimes you get lucky. There are garages but I... More
