The english muffins really are swell!

There was nothing really wrong, service was fast and efficient, ambience was good, decor up to par, food was pretty much what everyone else was offering. Halfway between a bar and a restaurant. LA prices. However there is better competition in the area. This would be a good second or third choice, but save your money and keep looking.

It was busy and noisy on a Thursday night and we had to wait 5 minutes for a table after parking underground and avoiding the $6.00 valet parking. Service was friendly and efficient. My wife's veggie burger was mushy even though it was requested well done and it was served on the restaurant's home made toasted English muffin. It was... More

The kale and quinoa salad is excellent and highly recommended. The brussels sprout salad w/ cranberries and almonds was also very good, especially with the addition of roasted chicken. And don't miss the chocolate chip cookies on your way out the door...

Went here for lunch when we found the Luggage Room (next door) wasn't open for lunch. Each had a marvelous French Dip sandwich with fries and the best Arnold Palmer drinks that we have ever had. Have a free terrific cookie while you wait for a table (nice touch)

We go here frequently (once every 2-3 months) and usually take out of town guests here when they come. Our family are all foodies and this place never fails us. I was kind of wanting to go somewhere else or at least to their sister restaurant next door - The Luggage Room - for something a little different. Our waiter... More

I remember arriving on Amtrak at the Pasadena Train Station years ago. Then the other day, it was a friend's suggestion we come to this place prior to an evening at a play. The meal was fantastic with "tacos" becoming your choice of what went inside and let you make your own...the "fixins" came to your plate and the soft... More

We went out for lunch with my Arcadian nephew, his wife and two of his army of children. Basically the menu at La Grande Orange Cafe is just a huge variety of pizzas with various salad-type dishes for starters with soft drinks and beers. For some peculiar reason as you leave you can take (if it's one) or steal (if... More

Food was very good. Waitress was courteous, but service was slow, and the restaurant is noisy and a bit pricey for what they serve.
