Great for a casual lunch or evening cocktails

The food at La Grande Orange is fabulous. The seating arrangement in the restaurant leaves something to be desired for a nice intimate dinner out. We went there for early dinner as a group of 15 people with kids. The location is interesting at Del Mar Station. The restaurant is kid friendly with both valet and self parking at the next door garage. They validate the parking so it is free. With regard to both food and service, there is nothing exceptional that I can... More

I was here for a business dinner. Interesting place with great salted chocolate chip cookies and tasty sangria. The tacos all the others had looked great but I wouldn't reorder the green chile cheeseburger for what it cost. With years of green chile cheeseburger experience this was ok but just was not worth in size or taste $15.00. Would I... More

I went with a friend, we had deviled eggs per the waitress suggestion, and they were OK. Nice creamy flavor. We had them without bacon. We would not get them next time. We had tacos-I had the swordfish tacos and they were great! My friend got the chicken tacos and said they were great also. My fish was moist and... More

I like La Grande Orange Cafe, their food is tasty, i just wish they had more options. I like that their corkage fee is low.

Just celebrated my daughter-in-law's birthday last night at La Grande Orange Cafe in Pasadena. This was my second visit and was even better than the first. To start with, from the reservation desk, bus boys and servers, you won't find friendlier, more attentive and helpful workers. You feel like a very special guest. The menu is so unique, We started... This restaurant is housed in a meticulously restored railway depot in trendy Old Town Pasadena. Great decor and environment. We were very impressed by the variety of creative menu items. The food is tasty, but rather expensive. An interesting place to visit and dine, but not if you happen to be on an budget.

Went here with a group of associates for dinner and I was impressed with the area and the atmosphere of the cafe. We were immediately seated and we did have a reservation. The server was nice and quick and overall it was great visit.

I wandered into this place after getting off the trolley and on my way to the Sheraton Hotel. The smell of rotisserie chicken brought me in . The waitress was friendly and made recommendations. My companion had the short rib tacos, I the chicken. The kale salad that accompanied the meal was to kill for. The tacos are just how... More

Very historic remodeled Depot building near Old Town Pasadena and near the Old Green Hotel. The food is very good and the bar is a delight. We often eat at the bar. There is only valet parking available unless you can capture a parking meter on the street. The hamburger is great.
