La Grande Fun!

Lovely food and genial atmosphere. Consistent pleasant service. Seriously great coffee. I enjoy this place and go there often. The bar can be good to avoid the crowds for regular seating but it is worth the wait... so... tomato/ tomahto. I don't find that the hype and price for the deviled eggs is... read more

Had brunch/lunch here yesterday with my husband and sister. Husband got the Smoked Salmon Benedict and said it was delicious, and my sister and I each had the Short Ribs Hash which came with two eggs. Sister also had a coffee which she said was rich and wonderful. Everything was delicious but this place is not cheap. These three meals... More

The food and the drinks here are really good. Although I have not been into the luggage room for pizza, I have walked through this part of the restaurant. The food looks really good, always busy and is probably the noisiest part of the restaurant. If you're in the neighborhood or traveling by the Metro Gold Line, try to stop... More

From the time this place opened my family has loved it. My favorite are the tacos. Yes, tacos, made with the best ingredients and hand made tortillas. The burgers are great too. As well as the mac and cheese. We always try and resist the starters. But its tough. The deviled eggs rock. Chips and guac, yum. Don't forget your... More

The Happy Hour here is from 11am to 7pm, which to me makes it a Happy Day. One of the best, if not the best, veggie and turkey burgers I have ever had in my life and they've got Green Flash West Coast IPA (Double) on tap, and best of all, it's at the Del Mar Station where I get... More

The food and people here are great, I would give it a 5, but it is pretty noisy (standard for restaurants these days, but I really like to hear the person sitting across from me).

LGO is a wonderful and dependable place to get a great meal in a comfortable atmosphere. We go here at least once a month. The menu is not huge, but there is something for everyone, and if you go back more than once, you will not mind getting the same dish over again. The Ahi Tacos and the hand made... More

Had dinner there last night with a great friend, we travel together a lot, planing our next adventures. She had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes. I had the rib eye, with mashed potatoes and butternut squash. Oh and we had their deviled eggs for our starter. It was fabulous, my steak was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were yummy, and... More

Always been a fan, always had excellent service and fresh, well made food. We are regulars and only ever come as a family because it's welcoming to kids. Not a quiet venue, it's quite dark, but a great buzz, and uniquely family friendly with tables and booths large enough to accommodate bigger groups. Setting is great by the train station,... More
