Inside the former Santa Fe Railroad Station

The sound level is high. They have panels hung overhead to help absorb sound. I was sitting in a draft from, I think, the open kitchen which was behind me. Dana W. is a good waitress with beautiful teeth! They have two dining areas that are outdoors but covered or slightly enclosed. One is... read more

Dining in a old Pasadena RR depot is most unique, tracks outside linked to local Metrolink line. Good food, good portions, busy Sunday PM. Needs sun screens to block Eve setting sun on diners. Great swordfish tacos. Everything homemade. Unique dining, Art deco exterior & wood fired BBQ for chicken. Houses Luggage Room PIzzeria & Otis Bar.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how good La Grand was. Took my wife for lunch and we had a wonderful time. Drinks were strong and great tasting. Food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. Especially if you enjoy historic establishments-can't go wrong with an old train station depot.

This was an average dinning experience. Except from the friendly valet staff the hostess did her job with a rather cool demure. The food was tasty but not enough to warrant another visit.

Presentation was nice, portions average, staff friendly. I am more of a simple food eater, otherwise, I would have rated it higher. For those foodies, you would probable like the eclectic menu.

I have eaten at Le Grande Orange (LGO) at least a dozen times and it never ceases to amaze. Lunch is very busy unless you arrive by 11:45 or after 1;30. Dinner is lovely during the spring and summer months if you eat on the enchanting outdoor patio. The deviled egg appetizer is to die for! On Thursdays they have... More

I LOVE Pasadena. La Grande Orange make me love Pasadena even more. The dining room is quaint, a blast from the past! With its interior charm, reminiscent of Orange orchards. You know your going to have a good meal. The menu has it all Mexican fare, New American fare, Burgers, Salad and BRUNCH. We started with The Deviled Eggs and... More

The bar seating is great for appetizers and specialty drinks. I like the White Sangria and Swordfish Tacos. Can't beat the fresh, homemade tortillas, guacamole, pico de gallo salsa - and... it's enough for two to share. Located in the old Pasadena Train Depot, it's a great location. You can take the Metro, park underground or Valet. Very easy to... More

I would call myself a regular at LGO. You can stop in for drinks and appetizers with friends, or bring the family for dinner. The service is always great, the food is delicious and generous in size, and it's not overpriced. My favorites are the spiked lemonade, chips and guacamole, deviled eggs, short rib dinner, coffee and red velvet cake... More

I have been here for both lunch and dinner many times. Monday and Tuesday they have a great neighborhood special with big discount for second entree. The food is excellent and so is the service. The wonderful salty cookies when you leave are likely to keep you coming back!!
