I arrived early about 5:30 but it was standing room only when I left an hour earlier. Service was friendly but very busy. I ordered the shrimp ceviche was was a large serving of medium size fresh shrimp with tomatoes, jalapenos, olives, avocados and onions. It sounds a bit weird but it worked. Extremely tasty without much sweetness. It was... More

We have been here a couple of times and have really enjoyed La Grande Orange Cafe. The building is unique and old, I believe it is the old rail road building. It is right next to the Gold Line so you can get there with public transportation. It has a dark atmosphere, yet it is casual with great food. The... More

Once you look past the fact that they sat our group 30+ mins late, we had a great time. Casual atmosphere. I reco that you sit on the patio. They have heaters, so it make for a great surrounding. The Brussels Sprout salad is really good as are the deviled eggs. The filet and lobster tacos were good as well... More

I had the dinela lunch. I ordered the soup of the day, tomato and trout. Bother were very well prepared and service was quite speedy (although I did arrive before the lunch crowd). By the time i left, about 12:30 pm it was getting full. I would certainly go back again!

The fresh blueberry preserves was absolutely amazing! The service was horrible. The gal that waited on us kept disappearing. We waited for refills, place settings, saw our food at the kitchen waiting to be brought to us...it was a slow morning so we were astonished that we were not given more attention.

Diverse though not gigantic menu: Wife had bone in rib eye (cooked med rare like she likes) and I had swordfish (plenty moist) tacos with home made corn tortillas. Good wine list. Friendly energetic staff. Piped in music a bit too loud- Though they turned it down immediately upon request. This likely to become our next repeat favorite in Pasadena.... More

We came here with friends and their two kids. They had a nice choice of specials for kids and for us adults there was plenty of choice. Nice atmosphere either inside or outside.

Popular dining place on a Friday night. Food was really great and the service was good. The sangria they offer is absolutely delicious. Friend and I shared a pitcher. Nice place for family, friends, business or couples. We sat outside on the covered patio. A little warm till the sun passed over, but still nice patio dining.

Having raved about LGO when I visited last year, I went back this week with some business associates and I was disappointed. The place was more quiet , less buzzy. The food was more burger joint, less funky and I couldn't get an expresso after my meal, just a watery pot of coffee. It probably was not so good last... More
