Great ambiance and conveniently located next to the Gold Line stop. La Grande Orange Cafe is located in the renovated historic Pasadena train station which gives it that feeling of another era. The bar area has large pane windows that can be opened when the weather is right to give the place an open air feeling. The dining area is... More

This is a wonderful find . . an elegant restaurant with a comfortable ambiance. And the food matches! Entrees are very tasty . . making you wish you could eat more. But then, that's why we'll be back. The service was friendly and attentive. We would gladly recommend La Grande Café to our friends.

How would you like to dine and eat delicious foods that aren't typically on a menu at the competition's restaurant? I ordered a spinach salad with champagne vinaigrette dressing, deviled eggs which contained real bacon bits, an English muffin (which is their specialty made there at the restaurant), along with a side cup of fresh fruit. The salad combined with... More

Brunch Review I took my sister here for her birthday brunch yesterday. The café is housed in Pasadena's historic 1935 Del Mar Station. Right next door in the The Luggage Room Pizzeria which used to house travelers' baggage at the Santa Fe Station. You can park right next door in the Del Mar Station parking structure. We had a party... More

I have often dined here and never been disappointed. The bacon wrapped dates are delicious. Their sangria is very refreshing and tasty, The service is top notch and the food is fresh and appealing. Great stop for happy hour. The outdoor patio is very relaxing for a casual dinner.

Our group of six had brunch here on a Saturday at the opening time, 10 am. Immediately after sitting down, I noticed a strong draft from the ceiling fan directly above my head. It was a warm day, so all the fans were going strong. No one else mentioned it, so I decided it was not so uncomfortable that I... More

A beautiful day required we dine on the patio. Sat down to excellent cocktails, ordered the nachos and entre. We should have waited on the main dish, as the nachos could have fed an army! Very tasty, but left us with little appetite for the main course. We had arrived early to a quiet location--and were glad to be leaving... More

This is a wonderful restaurant adjacent to the Del Mar Gold Line stop in Pasadena. Recently, my office moved close and my wife commutes to her job by train so this has become our once-a-week date night. I can highly recommend any of their Ahi choices, the Tuna tartare appetizer, the Ahi Salad, or the Ahi Tacos are amazing. Everything... More

The cocktails were fabulous. The bartender uses fresh herbs and fruits in the pomegranate mojito and sangria I tried and I was hopeful that the dinner would be just as great. Alas, the plates took forever to come out and two of the four were not hot! The burger was really good but the bass was overcooked, and rotisserie chicken... More

This is great little place to grab lunch with high end tacos (filet, short rib, and more) paired with a Kale salad side, leaving you feel like you are being bad while eating healthy. Typically we grab a table in the bar area which has quicker seating and little less noisy. There is valet or garage parking or if you... More
