The cocktails were fabulous. The bartender uses fresh herbs and fruits in the pomegranate mojito and sangria I tried and I was hopeful that the dinner would be just as great. Alas, the plates took forever to come out and two of the four were not hot! The burger was really good but the bass was overcooked, and rotisserie chicken... More

This is great little place to grab lunch with high end tacos (filet, short rib, and more) paired with a Kale salad side, leaving you feel like you are being bad while eating healthy. Typically we grab a table in the bar area which has quicker seating and little less noisy. There is valet or garage parking or if you... More

The atmosphere is great, historic building too, good service, but the food is always average to me...must say the huevos were above average for this place...have had the garden burger, not good and the veggie tacos, very trendy and odd...too much olive oil and food is too heavy for me, I guess on account of the use of oils. Lighter... More

This place has good veggie burgers and great salads. Plus they have free cookies and a lovely $3 kids meal. So it's really easy to convince the kids to go. I usually make them go with me to the Stone tasting room after and I get a couple 4oz beer tasters.

We are a group of 8 who meet for dinner every couple of months, usually in Pasadena. Because this cafe received fairly good reviews, we decided to try it. But it is very very noisy, and definitely not conducive to having any sort of conversation. On the positive side - the deviled eggs are great! On the minus side -... More

A very pleasant casual restaurant (burger, salads, and more) with lots of creative modern California cuisine touches plus excellent wines. Very pleasant service.

We started with their deviled eggs ($7.00 for 6 halves or 3 whole eggs), a bit sweet but creamy and nice with the Clos La Chance wine ($14.00 for 10 oz). Moved on to the vegetarian tacos, enough for two, so glad our waitress, Heather, suggested sharing. The veggies were lightly cooked, the tortillas; corn, hot, fresh, bite-size and coming!... More

I've eaten here numerous times for lunch and dinner. Food and service is always excellent. My favorite dish is the tri-tip french dip.

Great restaurant close to Old Town with complimentary valet at lunch time. My co-workers and I had about 90 to spare and we had a very enjoyable lunch without feeling rushed. Food came out fairly quickly. I had a pecan crusted trout with grilled asparagus. My colleagues had burgers and another had a salad. I really enjoyed my dish. Service... More

We had lunch with our family of 11 after our grandson's graduation from SFHS. We sat on the patio and had a wonderful time. My husband and I were the first to arrive and we were greeted by the hostess. We went to the bar for a drink and the young lady behind the bar was extremely personable and made... More
