We sat on the patio on a Sunday afternoon, and despite the slow-ish service we had a nice meal. It's unusual to see deviled eggs on a menu and these were delicious! My friend goes there often and can't get past the cheeseburger with a side of kale salad because she loves it so much. I had crab cakes benedict... More

What makes it perfect? Great ambience; noisy buzz, 40s band music, eclectic décor in a historic train depot. Great service; our waiter was there instantly with menus and water and our food came equally quickly. Great deal; Monday and Tuesday are "neighborhood" nights. Buy one entrée, get the second for $5.00. No kidding! And of course great food; prime rib... More

This place was great. Four gals met up for dinner on a Tuesday and were surprised by "Neighborhood Night." Monday and Tuesdays, if you buy one entree, you get another for $5! Best ever. The deviled eggs are just wonderful and I had the ahi tacos. Very good and I wasn't able to finish it so I got a doggie... More

Loud, but acceptable noise level, dining in an old Padadena train station. The menu and wine list are very reasonably priced, and the service was very good. If you're there on a night when the excellent fried chicken is available, by all means have it. I highly recommend this casual, comfortable place.

Was invited with a friend for My Birthday breakfast! From food to the servers. Everything was perfect very fresh, tasty and delicious. We both had " The Eggs Benedict" Portions are plenty full. The Décor is very colorful and contemporary. The Restaurant sits along The Del Mar Metro Station Courtyard. They do have patio seating and I believe one can... More

My FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT!!!!! Great service, great location, romantic clean ambience or just a fun place to eat for any occasion. I have lived in the LA area now a little over a year, and just by chance I stumbled on La Grande Orange Cafe - what I gift that was, I have been there more than any other... More

This was the first time I came here for dinner and even though it projects a hip vibe it's still quite comfortable. Not an extensive menu but some good chices. Ended up going with a seemingly unimaginative filet mignon, mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was comfort food at its finest! Very satisfying even though portion initially seemed small. I recommend... More

Between the awesome food for adults, the $3 kids meal that kids love, and the free cookies... this place is my favorite to take the kids. I usually skip the drinks and then make them go with me for a couple tasters at the Stone tasting room next door. Then we play in the courtyard and wave at the trains.... More

Great ambiance and conveniently located next to the Gold Line stop. La Grande Orange Cafe is located in the renovated historic Pasadena train station which gives it that feeling of another era. The bar area has large pane windows that can be opened when the weather is right to give the place an open air feeling. The dining area is... More

This is a wonderful find . . an elegant restaurant with a comfortable ambiance. And the food matches! Entrees are very tasty . . making you wish you could eat more. But then, that's why we'll be back. The service was friendly and attentive. We would gladly recommend La Grande Café to our friends.
