This place is in a train station adjacent to the Gold line of LA Metro in Pasadena. This makes it really convenient for commuters. Food was good, bar service was good while in the bar, but overall service was pretty slow. It was really busy, so I'm not sure they were properly staffed. They were out of Deviled Eggs, too... More

LGOC has some of the best deviled eggs that I have ever tasted, anywhere. The cheese burger is to die for. Soak up all the ambience in the old Santa Fe Railway depot. (This structure was moved completely off the property while the parking garage was constructed below). But my favorite place to dine is on the large patio. Service... More

We sat in the bar and ordered from the full menu. I saw that they had St. George's Gin and had to have a G&T. Very nice. I wasn't super hungry so I opted for a Caesar salad. Our server asked if I wanted to add chicken. I am so glad that I did. Grub!

Oh my goodness! This place was so good! Atmosphere is great - sat at the bar and ate and bartender was wonderful. Will make a trip back for sure to have lunch again! Also purchased the English muffins to go and yup, they are worth it!

This place rocks!!! The short rib taco with fresh corn tortillas was perfect accompanied by kale salad! My picky 8-year-old wanted seconds of this pasta and my husband really liked the swordfish. There were 8 of us (meat eaters and vegetarians) and there was something for everyone! To top it off, the chocolate chip cookies with flaky sea salt was... More

Our family, ranging in age from 19 to 79, all agreed this was the best meal of our California Christmas. Tuna was the most popular order at our table: tuna sashimi salad, tuna tacos and tuna burger. Delicious, flavorful and so very fresh. The waitress was very attentive to our party of 9 and although the restaurant was very busy,... More

We sat on the patio on a Sunday afternoon, and despite the slow-ish service we had a nice meal. It's unusual to see deviled eggs on a menu and these were delicious! My friend goes there often and can't get past the cheeseburger with a side of kale salad because she loves it so much. I had crab cakes benedict... More

What makes it perfect? Great ambience; noisy buzz, 40s band music, eclectic décor in a historic train depot. Great service; our waiter was there instantly with menus and water and our food came equally quickly. Great deal; Monday and Tuesday are "neighborhood" nights. Buy one entrée, get the second for $5.00. No kidding! And of course great food; prime rib... More

This place was great. Four gals met up for dinner on a Tuesday and were surprised by "Neighborhood Night." Monday and Tuesdays, if you buy one entree, you get another for $5! Best ever. The deviled eggs are just wonderful and I had the ahi tacos. Very good and I wasn't able to finish it so I got a doggie... More

Loud, but acceptable noise level, dining in an old Padadena train station. The menu and wine list are very reasonably priced, and the service was very good. If you're there on a night when the excellent fried chicken is available, by all means have it. I highly recommend this casual, comfortable place.
