It was xmas party time so the place was rocking on a friday night - nice curved-seating table in the middle of the action, lots of buzzing waiting staff. as usual the food never quite matches up if its a buzzy place, quite simpy coz they dont have to, its more presentation than substance. The mushed up tuna was an... More

I took a friend there for her birthday & she said she enjoyed herself. They make a special menu for the birthday person when you let them know ahead of time and add orchids to their plate as well as present a nice desert plate. Nice presentation. Taking a picture for us all to take home was a nice touch... More

Roy's restaurants never disappoint our family. We were first introduced to Roy's in Hawaii and consistently enjoy it! The chocolate soufflé is always a favorite - the tuna is also always prepared well and tasty.

Went here after Sleeping Beauty play at the Pasadena Playhouse (within walking distance of the Playhouse). We arrived a bit early for our reservation so were invited to sit at the bar. We did not have a long wait so that was nice. While I am not a big fan of Asian cuisine this was very good. I started with... More

This is not an upscale restaurant. Only it's prices are upscale. There is nothing I liked about it. $10.00 for a pathetic salad. Costco has better meat. This place only cares about making money.

Well located in downtown Pasadena, with a great menu of Hawaiian fushion with a seafood bias blending Asian and European styles to produce delicious excellent quality dishes. Not a cheap venue but excellent service and ideal for solo, groups couples as well as business lunches or dinners. Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and look forward to returning.

Ate here last night for the very first time and it was a great meal. The ribs were to die for....the truffle mac and cheese melted in your mouth and the three piece fish entree was incredible. Jeff, our waiter, was spot on with his service and his knowledge of the food and wine menus. Little street parking around but... More

Three of the four of us had a wonderful meal at Roy's. The Steak, the Tempura Sea Bass and the Mahi Mahi were excellent as usual. The Thai Style Chicken on the other hand was truly not able to be eaten. There were Chicken pin feathers and hair all over the the Chicken. However, once management saw the chicken, they... More
