My son, boyfriend and I had dinner at Roy's the other night. The food was wonderful from start to finish. They present complementary edamames which are salty and spicy. A great way to get started. We have come to Roy's for the past several years for our anniversary. We are never disappointed with the food or the service. The fish is delicious and we love the ahi poke appetiser. I had the butterfish over bok choy and my husband had the steak with shrimp. Both of the meals were wonderful. The staff went out of... More

As other reviewers have noted, consistency can be an issue. Arrived mid-evening and sat at the bar. Good service from the multiple bartenders and the place had a nice crowd. While never one to complain about prices, for what they do charge, on this night they did not deliver. Tried 3 appetizers, green salad- ok seemed a bit salty, lobster... More

We called at a little bit of a late date and was able to get a 6:30 reservation. We did have to Valet the car as there wasn't a bit of parking in the area. Drinks were a little light in my opinion, but the service and entree's were great. The Canoe for two was more than enough for the... More

This is a good spot for Asian Fusion food. Our son had a wonderful tenderloin, while I had some very good egg rolls and my husband really enjoyed the lobster potstickers. Very crowded, but it was a Saturday night.

I've been a fan of Roys for over 15 years. Our first dinner in Oahu was almost magical. The food, service and ambiance made for a perfect meal. Since then the Roy's franchise has expanded and it just seems to be getting worse each time I come back. It honestly wouldn't be such a disappointment except for the price. We... More

Person pouring water looked sloppy and poured glass of water too full and all over floor. Didn't apologize or clean it up.

I booked this for a birthday dinner for a friend that specifically wanted fish, and we were not disappointed! The menu was varied, funny they seemed to have more pages in the menu devoted to drinks than actually food, but hey-- I'm not complaining! Choices were solid as far as diversity of fish, and protein actually, some good chicken and... More

It was xmas party time so the place was rocking on a friday night - nice curved-seating table in the middle of the action, lots of buzzing waiting staff. as usual the food never quite matches up if its a buzzy place, quite simpy coz they dont have to, its more presentation than substance. The mushed up tuna was an... More
