Hooray for Happy Hour!

Roy's has always been one of my favorite dining establishments - consistently good food and great atmosphere, but the best deal here is happy hour! It's a wonderful place to have a nice glass of wine or cocktail, and they have a great variety of discounted appetizers. Perfect for pre-theater eats!

We've been to this restaurant several times over the past few years and have never been disappointed. Our latest visit was an early Mother's Day dinner where we enjoyed the Short Ribs, Thai Chicken and the Korean Dinner special, followed by the melting hot chocolate souffle. All were delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was great and we felt welcome and... More

We have been meaning to visit the local Roy's in Pasadena ever since we ate at the Ko Olina Golf Club Roy's last fall and had a great meal. One we forgot about and it expired. So last night we brought the... More

Convenient corner location on Colorado Blvd. Chic indoor seating as well as patio seating on the sidewalk area. Service was very attentive. bordering on intrusive, but very polite. A complimentary plate of edame as we sat down. I had the Pasadena Restaurant Week special. Szhechuan Chicken Wraps for starters, grilled short rib (very tender) and Misoyaki Butterfish for the entree... More

My husband and I were here for our anniversary and we received excellent service! The food was equally as amazing! We ordered the lobster bisque and blackened ahi tuna for appetizers. For the main course, Roy's trio, and filet mignon and red dragon shrimp. For dessert, we had creme brûlée and vanilla ice cream with molten lava. Our server went... More

My son, boyfriend and I had dinner at Roy's the other night. The food was wonderful from start to finish. They present complementary edamames which are salty and spicy. A great way to get started. We shared the fried calimari which was excellent although I avoided the chili peppers and the peanuts weren't really a part of the dish since... More

We have come to Roy's for the past several years for our anniversary. We are never disappointed with the food or the service. The fish is delicious and we love the ahi poke appetiser. I had the butterfish over bok choy and my husband had the steak with shrimp. Both of the meals were wonderful. The staff went out of... More

As other reviewers have noted, consistency can be an issue. Arrived mid-evening and sat at the bar. Good service from the multiple bartenders and the place had a nice crowd. While never one to complain about prices, for what they do charge, on this night they did not deliver. Tried 3 appetizers, green salad- ok seemed a bit salty, lobster... More

We called at a little bit of a late date and was able to get a 6:30 reservation. We did have to Valet the car as there wasn't a bit of parking in the area. Drinks were a little light in my opinion, but the service and entree's were great. The Canoe for two was more than enough for the... More

This is a good spot for Asian Fusion food. Our son had a wonderful tenderloin, while I had some very good egg rolls and my husband really enjoyed the lobster potstickers. Very crowded, but it was a Saturday night.
