Surprisingly delicious!

I pass Roys almost everyday. It just seemed more like a tourist restaurant more than anything else. Much to our surprise the food was delicious. The service was very good. I think the thing the throws people off is the name, 'Hawaiian cuisine'.

Part of a group of five here for New Year's Eve - had a limited menu, but good choices for all four courses. The website implied that a glass of wine was included in the price of dinner, but not so - the only real quibble about the evening We arrived for a 7 pm reservation and were seated within... More

My husband and I often stop by Roy's before a movie. The happy hour Hors-d'oeuvres. Have not been disappointed, but they need more variety or change the menu now and then.

We were fortunate to eat here one day for lunch and another for dinner. For lunch we ordered the shrimp lunch plate and the chicken lunch plate. We thought they were perfect for lunch. Service started off slow but improved. For dinner we had reservations and enjoyed a three course meal for a set price. I enjoyed calamari, a shrimp... More

Roy's food and service is consistently good at every location. Visited here just after the Rose Parade and while it was very busy, both the service and food quality were great. The lump crab fried rice and Lobster Pot Stickers made a great "shareable" after a long day of parade and football. This restaurant is "walkable" from either end of... More

We went to this restaurant with no reservation. The hostess said we could probably have dinner at the bar, because they will serve us full dinner there. We sat there for over 10 minutes and no one pay any attention to us. We went back to the hostess and ask about a table. Fortunately, the restaurant manager found out about... More

Roy's consistently delivers great food with outstanding service and this visit was no different. Wonderful food, great service. I am sure there is nothing on the menu that is not wonderful, but on this trip, the 72 hour marinated pork shank over risotto was just mind blowing (the scallops were great as well).... Not sure what more to say than,... More

Was a bit skeptical about getting japanese/hawaiian fusion at the price point. I thought they'd just smother teriyaki in a very expensive fish and ruin everything. Turns out I liked the food. The Calamari appetizer was delicious. Butterfish was excellent, cooked well. Just a little bit salty.
