A creative Argenine menu

We went to Malbec to attend a group seminar and therefore could only choose from limited items on the menu. I had the salmon which was tasty and my husband had the tenderloin which came as he ordered it and not as raw as we have had beef in Buenos Aires. My wife and I dined at Malbec recently, and, although we were guests of a large group...so we didn't order Argentine food from the menu, the dinner was excellent, as were the white Argentine wine blend of Albarino/Reisling and (?), with a slight frizzantiness...as well as the reserve Malbec red that we enjoyed. We look forward to returning, to try... More

Malbec will undoubtedly please many people: nice location, pleasant upbeat ambiance and some good dishes: actually the best risotto I've ever had! (The dish is called creamy carnaroli rice & wild mushrooms with crispy kale.) Other good dishes: seared jumbo scallop wrapped in smoked salmon, Australian lamb rack, arugula salad with beets/candied walnuts pear and the panne cotta for dessert.... More

I visited this Argentinian restaurant about a week ago with coworkers. I'm not really much of a red meat eater, but upon the recommendation of my coworkers, some of whom had eaten here before, I decided to opt for the skirt steak...besides, I've heard that Argentina is known for all their meats and the way they prepare them. Well, I... More

We called and asked if we needed a reservation for Sunday brunch. We were told that we didn't, because it didn't get that busy. They were right. When we arrived at around noon, the place was practically empty, but the woman who greeted us was annoyed that we did not have a reservation. Then they made us wait. In an... More

Wonderful selection of wine to pair with the flat iron steak. Good burrata salad. Quick seating with reservation. Very busy and crowded. Happy to dine here for my friends next birthday celebration. Great service too!

We have been at this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed our meal and surroundings.we also ask for recommendations from the waiter. They are ready to help you with the Argentinan dishes. It is fun to try foods you are not familiar with!

Me and my wife have been regulars here for a few years now, however we noticed little by little the prices keep going up and up and up, and the service has gone down a bit. I mean its ok to raise prices but wow this much?? We were shocked.. I mean its ok because the food is worth it,... More

Two out of four in our party were satisfied with their meal. The unhappy diners ordered the skirt steak, that has positive reviews, but this time the meat was tough, full of gristle and less than 1/2 was edible. The others (who had a salad + emanadas, and the mango tuna steak) were happy with their choices. Dessert flan was... More

The food is excellent, although 5 or 6 tiny pieces of bread in a basket for 3 people was more than skimpy. The service (on a Saturday evening) was marginal at best. Had to ask for additional menus and plates for bread. Took much too long to have wine glasses used for tasting to be removed, etc. In terms of... More
