A gem on the quiet Green street

I came here for a early dinner during Dine LA. I was very impressed there were 2 dinner options to choose from at $40 and $50. We chose the $50 version and got to sample all the dishes. On 1st course, the Salmon tartare is exceptional, very fresh. All 3 entrees for 2nd course are great. The... read more

I know Argentine, well. But let's talk ambience and service first: the fire Marshall must be on the payroll, tables so close you are distracted by your neighbors, pleasant decor, unmanageable noise, but not a horrible experience, give it a C. Service, can only talk about Leland- avoid his tables. He tries to take on the persona of the disdainful BA... More

We went there last Thursday Nite for dinner, with a friend and it was Fantastic. Not only are the menus great, but they will cook it to your perfection they way you want it and take off some items if you ask, and just to cook it the way you want it

We had 6:00 PM reservations on a Saturday night. When we arrived the restaurant was crowded but we were immediately seated at our reserved table. The tables are spaced close together and there is little privacy. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food is very good. We ordered three appetizers for five people: 2 orders of EMPANADAS (chose... More

Went here with just my husband as it was rare to be just the two of us for Christmas Eve. The restaurant was really busy, but still had quality service. The suggested Pinot Noir was very perfect with the Filet. The Chimichurri sauce is excellent. We'll be back!

Friends took my husband and I out for what was an incredible meal and experience. We had the option to dine outdoors to enjoy the fresh air and a quieter ambience, or indoors at either a lovely table or booth. We chose the outdoor table, which was wonderful. The waitstaff and manager were professional to a T, friendly and helpful,... More

The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the food very very good. I had the tenderloin which was cooked to perfection. Others in our party also enjoyed their entrees including the salmon, and chicken dishes. The suggested pinot noir was very very good and went well with the beef tenderloin. I would recommend eating at the Malbec for a good meal... More

We eat here on a regular basis. Entrana de Chimichurri is excellent, as are all the salads and appetizers. We've never been disappointed.

Arrived at 6:30 on a Friday evening and had our pick of tables so chose smaller dining room near window. After reading a mixture of reviews, we decided to try for ourselves and we were not disappointed . Waiter and busboy were attentive but not looming and we never felt rushed, even as the restaurant began to overflow. Food was... More
