I dream about their verde sauce.

Shhh, don't tell anyone about this place. It is already too crowded. But what do you expect with such delicious margaritas and such a diverse menu. Although, I can never get past the green sauce on the chicken enchiladas many friends and family have ordered and loved other dinners.

The only thing about this place is that the salad they served had a few over riped greens. :-(. I told them about it. Hopefully that issue will become better. The Refried beans are black but good and they serve SOL beer. My favorite light beer. The guacamole was yummy but pricey at $10. Their home made salad dressing is... More

Yes, that's true. PAS has been open for twenty-three years, and my youngest, who is now twenty-six, first joined us at our favorite neighborhood restaurant as a three-year old in a high chair. Some years later she and her date for the prom appeared in formal attire for their pre-dance dining. The food here is not the usual Tex-Mex or... More

I love this chain of restaurants. Drinks and food are both good and offer great value. Of the three I've been to, their Redwood City restaurant is the best. Decided to give Palo Alto a try. Bad choice. Although the restaurant was not full, service was slow and sloppy. We had to request both water and chips. A drink was... More

The staff is friendly and charming. The food authentic and delicious. The triple X margarita was outstanding. I prefer a fruity drink and this fit the bill. The salsa is hot! If you like spicy you will devour the salsa. I preferred the guacamole. Garlicky and smooth. Yum! I ordered the steak fajitas and my hubby ordered the enchilada mole... More

I went to this restaurant after reading about it on google search. It was a great find. I had Enceladus with mole sauce and a special cream sauce that was a family recipe. Excellent! Everyone in our party was very satisfied with meals. Loved the wood bar. Great service. Menu extensive. Would highly recommend.

One word- DELICIOUS! Shrimp fajitas were superb, salsas were perfect, chips so tasty (and not greasy!), rice was amazing, and service was excellent! We will totally come back when we visit Palo Alto again.

Palo Alto Sol has a few tables outside, which are great on nice days. Its Feb, a nice day out, and sitting outside was great. The service was great, the wait staff very attentive. The food was good, but maybe a bit over done with the toppings and the sauces. That kind of buried the fillings underneath. I'll be back... More

This was perhaps one of my favourite restaurants in California. The restaurant itself was dark and felt a little cramped but oh my the food was delicious. Coming from a land where Mexican food is exotic (the UK), the guacamole, black beans an enchiladas were an absolute treat. Highly recommended.

The guacamole is excellent if you like garlic!!! And I do! Their home made salad dressing is excellent as well...Yummy salad because of it! Lots of Garlic! Their refried beans look like they are from Black beans...but unsure...they were great too! Will go back and they do serve MY favorite beer...(LIGHTWEIGHT that I am) Cerveza SOL! :-)
