Good eats

Fresh and well prepared seafood dishes. Nothing fancy but delicious seafood. I had a mixed platter that I liked. Some else in our party had fish and chips.

This is a frenetically busy restaurant. The fish selections are excellent, but getting hot food is a major negotiation. They pre-plate the vegetables and let them get cold while the fish cooks. The fish is generally hot, with cold vegetables. The dining experience is nil...more like a production line. The atmosphere is nil.

The Fish Market has an exceptional menu, great tasting seafood, for a reasonable price. It's an older restaurant frequented by the locals, which is a very good indication of how good it is. They have a wide variety on the menu that varies daily, Service is good - attentive but not obtrusive. Probably not a place to take clients you... More

Pretty good choices of sea food with reasonable price. Convenient location and friendly staff. Recommend to make reservations for dinner.

Fish was prepared well, but service was on the slow side. Perhaps it is because I live fairly close to the ocean, but the prices seemed pretty high for the portion sizes.

Daily fresh fish choices, including some caught in the area. Also a good selection of side dishes and styles for the fish to be prepared.

The food is excellent here. Prices are high but in line with the fresh cuisine. Can get very crowded so need a reservation. Beware of parking lot. Notorious for car breakins due to alot of out of towner business people (laptops, etc.).

When writing this review of The Fish Market, a lot of memories started to come back to me. In the mid-1970's when I worked at the McDonald's next door, I watched on a day-to-day basis, of the construction of this restaurant. A decade earlier the space was a Uncle John's Pancake House where I ate many breakfasts with my parents.... More

One of the best fish dishes I've had was their grilled Ling Cod. Fish was not overcooked at all, and was very flavorful. Would love to live closer so I could eat there again and again.

I had been here years ago, had a great meal and wanted to bring my wife to it to share the experience. We arrived about 4:30 on a Friday which was ahead of the crowds and asked to be seated on the patio. We had our choice of tables which was perfect. We waited 10 minutes before I had to... More
