High quality food at an ok price. I don't think the place quite deserves its sky-high reputation, but it's still worth while from time to time. Nice atmosphere and service.

I love the clams on the half shell. I had Mahi to go with it and it was very good. We timed to right and there was plenty of parking which can be a challenge here.

We were there on September 9, 2014 for dinner. Sour dough french bread came to the table immediately for those who were hungry (which we were), next closest to Fisherman's Wharf that we have had. My husband ordered the fish and chips combo. He said that both the scallops and shrimp were the best he had had anywhere - ever!... More

The fish is fresh and well prepared. Local spot frequented by older locals and long time Palo Alto residents. Nice place for a family dinner and a broad menu for people of any age. i will return often. Appetizers are good, fresh fish is excellent and the cioppinio is bottomless.

We went there for lunch and didn't eat a lot. Whatever we tried was fresh and good the service too. We also find the cost fair.

Delicious food, reasonable prices. Come early as it may get crowded in the evening. Pay attention at working hours - they close at 10 pm!

We were impressed with the choice and - more important - with the dishes themselves. Grilled tuna fish, grilled and smoked salmon, pasta, salmon salad - every dish was outstanding.

We returned to the Fish Market after having been patrons 32 years ago. It continues to serve excellent seafood and didn't let us down. Definitely try the Cioppino--outstanding!

The fish market is my family's go to place for fish dinners. They have a broad menu and daily specials. We go there regularly when pacific salmon and dungeness are in season. The food quality and preparation is consistently good. Get there before 6pm to get seated right away.

My wife and I ate here while on vacation and it was excellent. I had the grilled Mahi Mahi and she had a smoked salmon salad. My grilled fish was perfectly cooked with the distinctive Mesquite smoke grilled flavor. Her smoked salmon was delicious. You should ask about the salmon salad that is not on the menu but is a...
