Excellent brick oven pizza

The chef knows what he's doing with his 800 - 900 degree pizza oven. We had 3 and my favorite was a margherita with added mushrooms. Very light and chewy crust with minimal but flavorful toppings in the right proportions.

A group of 15 of us had dinner here. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived so waited by door area and had a drink. Not the most convenient place as it was busy with people coming and going. We ordered a selection of starters to share; seafood risotto was my favourite. For my main I had a fillet of... More

Terun's seems like just another trendy wood-fired pizza place near Stanford where the hipsters like to hang out ... but it's so much more. A cool little bar to have a draft Perrone and wait for your friends to arrive. Fantastic food. You are just as likely to bump into a Stanford athlete or some Silicon Valley billionaire. These folks... More

Our first time at Terun: Everything we tried was very very good: :the beet gnocchi was perfect, the lasagna was fantastically flavorful, and the ravioli and pizza were very good as well. The service was efficient and knowledgeable. We will definitely come again.

Everything we have eaten at Terun has been excellent. The pizzas are cooked in a specially imported oven and are delicious. The chicken piccante is exactly that. The roasted romaine salad is wonderful. The cannoli or the salted caramel gelato are great desserts. The owners are charming. Every time we eat here, which has been often, we wonder why we... More

....I read about the place on the press. I was eager to try it! ...so do you want to enjoy a wonderful pizza? Try "nduja" with special salami from Calabria. That is the definitely the place to go in Palo Alto!

We had read so many enthusiastic comments on the international press (e.g. The N.Y.times, or Corriere della Sera) that we really searched for a personal confirmation...and we got it ! Everything is really super. The pizza, the dessert, the owner, which make you feel at home. BTW, mascarpone is the best we eated, in the SF area. We were 5... More

In one word: OUTSTANDING! Hands down the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Went with a group of 6 and had Tricolore Pizza and Piatto Misto for starters. 3 of us had a fava bean soup as well. For main courses we had Lasagne, Risotto of the day, Ravioli, and Parmigiana di Melanzane; all of which were so tasty!... More

This restaurant has very good food. I had the Tagliata and it was delicious - perfectly cooked meat, thin and lovely fries, and a portion that is very generous. My colleague enjoyed the pizza Schiacciata and loved it. But the food was really only half of the pleasure of this place. What we loved was the service. The owner spent... More

This place doesn't need my review, it's always so crowded! Reservation absolutely necessary on weekends, I don't know about weekdays. I love the atmosphere there, it suffers a bit from its success (crowded, noisy) but the staff is so friendly you'll forget about it and they make you feel well taken care of. Pizzas are really good, their mozzarella is... More
