A real treat

This is a very nice contemporary upscale Vietnamese restaurant. I found the food well prepared, served and delicious, yet the portions I had were on the small side. The menu has a large selection of items that I want to go back and try. I haven't found anything I didn't like. It is a little... read more

I was in Palo Alto for a month or so in February and ate at a number of different restaurants. This is the only one I returned to, I came three times in total, including a lunch and two evening meals. Superb service and even better food. Location is pretty standard for Palo Alto, and the style and decoration are... More

I think this is the best restaurant in the area for this kind of Asian fusion food. Delicious flavors, cooked to perfection. Great service, very nice ambiance, rooms in back for groups. I love it. Always a treat. Make a reservation.

A very civilized and fine place for dinning with a lotion of excitement. The food menu is detailed, but understated, the wine menue is average for the area. The desert menue is very good for the finally of the dinning. The clientele is somewhat marginal, for a fine dinning place. Take your time with the menue, its exciting, as our... More

Great service, great food, great company! We ordered tuna tartar, shaking beef, lychee something-something chicken and sea bass. Everything was very good and flavorful. They also have a full bar and drinks were very good too.

Had lunch with a friend and loved it. The shaking beef was outstanding and so was the steamed corn cake on the appetizer menu. Not only was the food excellent, it was beautifully presented.

I've been to Tamarine about 10 times with friends and for business. So I'm very confident in saying it is consistently Excellent and a must try in Palo Alto if you are a foodie and like high-quality Asian fusion and especially if you like Vietnamese food! Obviously, the Bay Area has a great number of incredible Asian restaurants, but I'll... More

Delicious food, lively atmosphere, great waitstaff and barkeeps. Creative menu with a good variety of vegetarian options and our drinks were expertly made. A fantastic wine list. Three of us ordered something different and everything was delicious, not a single negative.

Tamarine is a regular stop for lunch or dinner with family or friends. The Southeast Asia themed dishes are well-prepared and have a variety of flavors. Standout appetizers are the Banh Mi Roti - a variety of the Indian bread, Spring Rolls, Salt and Pepper Calamari and Ha Long Bay Soup. The last is a silky, creamy soup with Crab... More

I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this place and would have to rank it as the best restaurant we have been to so far this year. I understand why it rates so highly in so many different reviews. Creative and fun with fantastic service and first rate martinis to start the night off. For starters we had... More
