Although the decor was strategically hip and the concept was ideal, the execution of Vietnamese / Fusion dishes left us with nothing to think but "blah..." We started the meal with the scallops appetizer (Seared Hokkaido scallops served with a truffle creamed corn pudding & tobiko). Once again, the concept was nice, but the reality of the dish came off... more

The waiters were less than mildly interested in our party of four, hurrying us through the meal. The food was all right but not outstanding and the worst value of money in a long time. more

Tamarine provides an interesting dining experience. While classified as "Vietnamese" by TripAdvisor, it would be more properly listed as "Asian fusion". The wait staff are both knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I was at a business lunch with a big group so got to sample a number of their specialties. Especially memorable were the signature tamarind shrimp, which had a unique smoky-tangy-bitter... more
