Description: Tamarine is a contemporary Vietnamese restaurant that features the light...
Tamarine is a contemporary Vietnamese restaurant that features the light but flavor-intensive culinary delicacies of Vietnam. The restaurant offers a menu based on small plates, promoting the Vietnamese tradition of the 'shared' meal in which food is shared and enjoyed with those close. Tamarine's small plate entrees are enjoyed with the pairing of a variety of aromatic, flavor infused rice, designed to be mixed and matched to create a truly unique flavor experience. Along with culinary delicacies of Vietnam, the restaurant showcases the works of emerging artists from Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries. Semi-annual exhibits will close with a cocktail event to auction the art. Proceeds will be donated to La Maison Chance, an orphanage in Saigon, Vietnam.

I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this place and would have to rank it as the best restaurant we have been to so far this year. I understand why it rates so highly in so many different reviews. Creative and fun with fantastic service and first rate martinis to start the night off. For starters we had... More

Had dinner at Tamarine together with eight business connections, and it was a very positive experience. We shared a number of starters and main courses, so we got to taste a lot of different dishes, and it was really good. Looked food, was beautifully arranged and served, smelled great (lots of herbes and spices), and tasted great. I particularly enjoyed... More

I was looking for a fusion restaurant in the area and Tamarine was recommended (after also reading reviews on TripAdvisor). The food was absolutely delightful - light, tasty, imaginative - everything I look for in a fusion restaurant. Prices were reasonable for the area and the wine list was varied and imaginative (we drank an Aussie Riesling (always great with... More

My family and I visited Tamarine recently. Food was authentic Asian cuisine. We ordered jumbo prawns, whole fish, long beans with garlic rice. Each of the dish were very tasty. Papaya salad was refreshing but could have been truly authentic with some nuts. Service was excellent with very helpful staff. Our bill for 4 pax (including wines) was $200. Nice... More

Excellent choice for Asian fusion lunch/dinner among friends or for business. Portions a bit small and a perhaps a bit expensive, but excellent quality and very tasty. Have been here a number of times and never disappoints.

This is my fourth or fifth time eating at Tamarine in as many years and it never disappoints from the perspective of the quality of the food. Always, always excellent. Portion sizes are, however, a bit frustrating. Unless you are a *very* light eater an entree + rice (even if you get an appetizer) are not quite enough. And for... More

We recently had lunch here and greatly enjoyed our orders - the Clay Pod Cod was superb, though the portion was a bit on the small side; we also enjoyed the Tamarine Shrimp, very tasty and juicy. The curried long beans was ok, and I was not so crazy about it. All in all, the food was great. The interior... More
