GB is a bit reminiscent of a München beer hall. It's a cool place to meet friends or new people. I'd definitely give it a try when you're downtown.

I like the Palo Alto location...it's off of University so it's not terribly crowded. Always a good food selection on the menu. If you like micro brews, ask what their seasonal special is.

Stopped for lunch, had a beer with a soup and a chicken entree. Food was good, beer was good, service was good. A nice place to eat.

Very good microbrewery. We popped in quite late and just had a couple of beers. Friendly bar staff, tasty brews. Food looked decent.

I ate here on a Friday night with 3 others. The menu is quite large and has a good mix - something for everyone. We had 4 different starters and 4 different main courses. All dishes were delicious! Would def go back again.

Some colleagues and I had dinner in this Gordon Biersch after work. I've been to a GB before but not this one. The service was generally good and the waiter was helpful with questions, accommodating the varying allergies, eating choices and religious restrictions at the table. Try the taster selection of beers - you get a taster of each beer... More

Popped in during happy hour after visiting Cantor Art Center. Nice pick of small plates, perfect for a quick meal with beer. I tried the Mediterranean Nachos with a selection of beers for a great late afternoon snack. The selection included brews ranging from an IPA-like Check Pilsner to a chocolate-colored Schwarzbier and a seasonal beer. A very pleasant experience... More

GB is a great place to go for large groups, they have a fun bar area and there is just the right level of noise around so you don't feel bad having a good laugh with old friends. Great drinks and great food overall. One disappointment at the table was the turkey sandwich - its more like a turkey burger.

Gordon Biersch is an excellent microbrewery that has gone the noisy sports bar route, but food still good.

We had a group of nine for dinner. Good brewery. Food had no complaints but also not something to rave about. Nothing wrong with a restaurant that has a "good" rating but Gordon Biersch could be better. We would return.
