Nice looking Mediterranian style place with an interesting menu of pizza/pasta, small plates, and regular entrees. Food looked good, but it didn't live up to its looks or surroundings. Nothing terrible, mind you. It just didn't have the edge that deserved another star. I sampled quite a bit of the menu, as we had a big group, and everything was... More

I went to Zibibbo for lunch with a large group of coworkers, and was impressed by the high quality of service. We were well taken care of, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend sharing some of the delicious appetizers. I had the duck confit salad, which was excellent and perfectly sized for a lunch entree.

We were there with a group of 10 or so on a Wednesday night. It was fairly empty, and it's a surprisingly large place for such an unassuming frontage, so we had plenty of space and good service. The food was typical californian cuisine with a decent wine and beer menu. They had a spit roast going and I think... More

Especially if you want a nice meal at a table with good elbow room and enough spacing for quiet conversation, consider this as your first choice. For me, it's right up there with Il Fornaio. The entire menu is well thought out. I had the brined double pork chop which was superb. My companions had various fish dishes that they... More

Haven't been to Zibibbo in two years and just made two visits in the last 10 days. Love the food and the format. Dishes are "mediterranean" themed for the most part and served family style. It's great for families (we went with two) and informal business dinners. Our last visit was just two couples. The service shone brightly when one... More

Had a group (30 ppl) dinner that was very successful with wonderful food and service. The Spinach salad was super yummy and the main courses were delicious as well.

Just off of University Avenue and nestled between two side streets, Zibibbo provides a sanctuary from the nearby hustle bustle. The food is good to excellent, the service is average and the location is excellent.

When Zibbibo opened years ago, we went there at least once every two weeks. Then the quality of the service began declining and the food isn't what it was originally. Which is sad.

Service, food and ambiance were excellent. Advised wait staff of our concert date and all was served timely and tasty. Previous reviews complemented to quiet, which was absolutely wonderful. A large group yakked away in a closed room, glassed in, but quiet. Distinctive pizzas, excellent appetizers, worth going out of your way.

Visiting friends in Palo Alto, we are finding most places are noisy and over-priced. Zibibbo for lunch today was neither. It was, in fact, surprisingly empty considering (a) good air conditioning on a hot day (b) very tasty tapas I'd rate as average in Barcelona and very good for here (c) not cheap, but a good value. Pizza with pear... More
