Good food and great atmosphere

Food was really good. I especially recommend the fried green tomatoes and the mac and cheese. The blackened salmon was good too. I've heard service is not great, but our service was pretty good.

The food is not exceptional, but definitely tasty. The main drawing card is that this is just a fun place to gather with friends. Nola is always hopping and upbeat.

As a foreigner I can say one of the things I love of the US is their prompt service in restaurants. Nola has the food and the drinks, but it is far distant from being even acceptable when service is to be taken into consideration. A reservation is needed in this place as it gets packed. Within its walls a... More

So I've been here on several locations: one was to watch the World Cup last year. They have a great seating arrangement for watching sports with multiple TV's so that you can see different games going on. In the main floor they have a very The appetizers are good. I also came here on July 4th so I was glad... More

We were tricked somewhat into a 30 minutes wait by first pretending there was a table immediately and then claiming a mix up. We could wait in a nice lounge with good drinks, however bill had to be separate. Had to remind the staff of us waiting there. Then however got a nice table, good waitress and food fast. The... I have been to Nola at least 15 times and the reason I go back is I love the food. The service is inconsistent and the decor is a bit rough, but I love the food and the price is right. So if you want a fun meal and you set your expectations correctly, go to Nola and enjoy a... More

It’’s my run-to place for a new orleans craving fix. so much cheaper than the flight and hotel would be, but somehow, you miss the NOLA atmosphere! I,m not talking loud and noisy, ether.

I thought I'd write a review for you guys as a partial thanks for accepting my UK drivers license as ID (I'm 29 and look it) after The Old Pro declined to serve me, saying I should carry a photo of my passport (ridiculous). I just wanted a beer and to watch the women's football World Cup but was happy... More

If you like Cajun / Creole cooking and exceptional service than you will love Nola's two store open center design makes you feel like you are in the French Quarter for sure. I had the Gumbo and started with the oysters Yummy.also had a side of grits just like back home (DeRidder La.)
