Cool place

One of my favorite places in PA! Good food and good drinks, always something happening and good student crowd.

Being British I'm no expert in Southern food. I had a couple of the typical dishes like Jambalaya and quite enjoyed them but found they were lacking a bit in spice. It was winter when we were there but in the summer the courtyard is opened up and I imagine this is a really great place to dine on a... More

Had a wonderful dinner and drinks at Nola and would definitely go back! I have never been to New Orleans, but this place had the feel with it's décor and fun menu.

This place is massive and has a fun, although slightly cheesy vibe. The bartender was very friendly and kept our drinks full. It was nice that they had craft beers on tap, although with the exception of the Victory at Sea I wasn't crazy about the selection. Reasonable prices.

Ate here with my family over the Christmas holiday and oh man did we eat. We came during happy hour and just got a ton of different appetizers to share. The wings are out of this world. We also got the sliders, biscuits and gravy, grilled cheese, and the basket of mixed fries. Of course if you're here you MUST... More

I was here for a work dinner with about 40 colleagues. Perhaps this was the only place to handle our large group. The service was amazing but the food was just average. If you like themed restaurants then this is the place for you -- I am not a fan of them and it seemed there could have been infinitely... More

It's our first night for this trip to Palo Alto and we went to Nola's. My husband had jambalaya, which was just ok. It had a sausage in it that was pretty hard to identify. I had a dish with grilled shrimp on it and, while the shrimp was tasty, it didn't appear to be grilled. The bread pudding with... More

Went out for an evening in PA and dined here. Food was good in terms of variety but I would avoid the blue tuna tacos. It's a good scene and has a great location. This is the last of the 1990s hot spots that I remember from a former life here. I'll visit again next time I'm in town. I... More

We decided to give Nola Palo Alto a try because we are headed to New Orleans in 2 weeks and I was on the fence about eating at Nola in New Orleans. The reviews are mixed on TA - people either loved it or were disappointed, so I thought I would check out the Palo Alto location first before eating... More

Great spot for groups, We had a private room for a group of 20. We got the fried chicken, flank steak, Cajun salmon with corn slaw, shrimp and grits, Guac and chips, fried okra with fries, beignets, and Corkage is a reasonable $10/bottle.
