Great food and lively place

If you're ready for a bar experience, then you won't be surprised. It's very loud unless you get a private room. There was a salad with hazelnuts and coconut shavings that was pretty good, and I liked the cornbread and the cole slaw, but some of the main dishes were too spicy. Even the fries were over-spiced! The dessert donuts... More

This restaurant is right off University Drive near Stanford. The ambience is cool. My colleague and I sat in the center of the restaurant which is outside and it does remind one of Bourbon Street in New Orleans. It's a Cajun menu. One of their specialties is the Skirt Steak so we both ordered that. It was marinated in teriyaki... More

I ordered a kale salad with chicken. When i didn't like the chicken i figured it was just spiced in a way that didn't suit my palette, but i tasted everything on the salad - the greens, the cheese, the apple - and none of them tasted anything like those things. instead they all tasted strangely awful. this was an... This is a very large restaurant on multiple levels very close to Stanford. Pretty noisy, seems to be a good spot for students. very casual, reasonably priced but not to be confused with fine cuisine. I think best for a large group of students but many better options for food within a several block area.

Worst customer service of any restaurant I've ever been to... seriously. They used to be mediocre but I've heard there was a change in management a couple years ago and ever since, they've raised their prices and gone way downhill which is unfortunate because they have a nice seating area and I used to enjoy going here for a drink... I was very disappointed i my entree. I had the fried chicken and waffles. My waffles were cold and when they were taken back to be replace by "hot" ones, they were no hotter. The chicken was oven fried, but, you should say that, (I know, oven fried) is healthier. My friends who had the pull pork sandwiches, loved them.... More

We've been here a bunch of times, but I feel like the food has gotten worse. We ordered the crabmole, ahi tacos, mama's balls and spicy jambalaya. The crabmole appeared to have a lot less crab in it than before (we used to have a hard time finishing it before but now it was barely enough), and the jambalaya was... More

The hurricane drink, really good. I went with a friend here for dinner and he ordered the burger and he loved it. I ordered the shrimp and i loved it. It was really good. The atmosphere was also good and even though it was packed, it was a great place. Prices were also good.
