I ordered the Jambalaya and it was very good -- loads of shellfish. Our waiter gave the spicy version a "6" on a heat scale of 1-10, and he was right. I saved room for dessert but did not realize that there were 5 beignets to a serving! I needed lots of help finishing up these very yummy sugary doughnuts... More

The atmosphere was really interesting with some cool art. The lighting helps to give you a private feel to each table. My pasta entree was pretty good and filling but the dessert was better. However, ice cream shouldn't be sat on a small warm pie. The cobbler was cold by the time it got to us so my friend had... More

A truly satisfying meal in an architecturally delightful setting. Had to go with the jambalaya, which was faithfully executed. Ordered the "caliente" level which was supposedly habanero level, but wasn't that hot. I'd recommend adding a ghost pepper level. Because it's a popular place, it's too noisy for much conversation. But with our mouths full of delicious food, it would... More

Decided to try this restaurant on a Thursday night - the place was very lively at 8 pm. I had the spicy jambalaya -- it was very yummy, though not super spicy. The raspberry mojito was also a nice treat. My friend ordered the baby back ribs -- he said it was good, but nothing special. We were stuffed so... More

Since it was all of our first visit, we had no previous experience to relate to. Five of us went there for an evening of drinks and dinner. It was a great fun evening. The ambiance was casual and laid back putting us all in the mood immediately. As we ordered our drinks and appetizers, it became more relaxing. The... More

There were four people in our party, and three people got cold food, and the other person dish was cold and tasteless. The appetizer had to be sent back twice for reheating. I ordered fried fish and the Corn Meal coating did not taste very good and it was burned. I was in New Orleans in June of this year,... More

Meeting up with a friend back in the area before starting grad school back east, I made a reservation at Nola for us to re-live, perhaps, a bit of a business trip we’d taken to New Orleans a few years back. What a great decision! First, you have to love the 2-hour free parking in lots within a block of... More

Very cool setting with murales and iron rails Bourbon st style. Excellent alligator, jambalaya, fried fish and blackened steak. Interesting beer selection. Good price value. A bit too loud for conversation

Nola is a great place to come for happy hour or meet with friends. It can be loud, but the food is tasty (if not terribly inventive). It is a fun, upbeat place and and easy spot to gather with friends.

Love NOLA for an afternoon meeting place - fun New Orleans atmosphere. Great fries. Don't skip the beignets!
