Lamp chops and grilled calamari are great. Service was excellent. I was a bit disappointed with their dessert. I heard so much about their vanilla custard filled pastry with pistachio ice cream but it wasn't as good as I expected. Made reservation one week early for a Monday dinner for 4, the only available time slot was 5:30pm. So make... More

We ate here because of high ratings here and on yelp and were pretty disappointed. Appetizer platter consisted of 3 pretty bland spreads: Taramosalata, Tzatziki or Melitzanosalata. The dolmathes had better flavor and texture. The moussakka was the worst. A bowl of mushy meat and potatoes flavored with way too much cinnamon. Their fish specials were decent, but not worth... We were working from a Trip Advisor list and several of the restaurants listed were no longer in business. We were actually headed to another restaurant on the list when we saw valets in the street accepting cars. I dropped off my wife and drove to a parking structure a couple of blocks away then walked back to Evvia. Meanwhile... More

The restaurant came highly recommended. A group of eight of us went together. Our waiter was fantastic. The food was amazing. The waiter was particularly helpful in giving recommendations and explaining the menu. I would highly recommend the House Pinot Noir. It was excellent. It is definitely a must go when you are in Palo Alto. More

We all found the food was absolutely wonderful and specials are very savory and even exciting. Excellent place to celebrate or make an evening of. We noticed that... More

This is the best Greek restaurant in the bay area... maybe the best restaurant in the bay area at all. I've been there several time in the last years and I've alway found great food, fantastic salads and terrific lamb chops !!! My favourite starter is Saghanaki and then the grilled lamp chops. They also a nice wine selection. More

My father is visiting from out of state and we had a late reservation last night at Evvia. After seeing a movie next door we asked if we could eat a bit earlier than our reservation and the manager was very nice and gave us a table (as long as we promised to be done at a reasonable time.) The... More

Palo Alto has several good restaurants, but in my opinion none of them come close to Evvia in terms of atmosphere. On most nights Evvia is full or close to full, and it feels like a place in a major city, rather than quiet Palo Alto. The menu is mostly mediterrenean, with great lamb items. More
