Wonderful food, excellent wait staff! Consistently terrific!

Recently we returned to Evvia and I have to say, it was one of the best meals we had in California. We love Greek food, and if you do too, this will not disappoint. Everything from the bread to the Greek salad to dessert was perfect. This visit my husband had 3 types of lamb and loved each, and... read more

I love Greek/Mediterranean food so after reading all the reviews and hearing all the hype I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant. I was let down and disappointed over all. It was loud, crowded, and the service was rushed. Most annoying, was our table was so close to the next that servers kept knocking my drink every... More

This is probably one of the best greek restaurants I have ever visited. On top of the great food and wine list, the level of customer service provided by the captain and waiters is outstanding. A "must go" if you appreciate the good food and do not care to pay more than average restaurants.

Most recent visit was a Department Lunch. The younger folk really enjoyed their entrees. The more mature folks indicated it was good (but not out of this fantastic). I enjoyed my lunch entree (pastitsio). However, at this price point, you expect more and I didn't get that.

I've had lunch here many times. All of the food is great but I'm partial to the lamb chops. The atmosphere is vibrant and busy (make a reservation).

I've traveled to Greece many times to visit with my gourmand friends. We always visit the latest and greatest Greek restaurants. I have yet to dine at a Greek restaurant that is as good as Palo Alto's Evvia. It's a little expensive, but well worth the experience.

Evvia always delivers. Great menu, excellent specials, and the staff is always professional. The mushrooms special appetizer is to die for. We brought in a special bottle of wine, and they decanted it without any hitches.

Come for the location and stay for the food. The appetisers are outstanding. Had the halibut and branzino - these were standouts. Until dessert and all I can day is leave room or you will live a life of regret.

This Greek inspired restaurant is filled with delectable menu choices and social ambiance. If you don't have a reservation for lunch or dinner there are 6 seats at the bar and Petar will take excellent care of you! From lamb dishes to Greek specialties to fresh fish you will be in heaven. We loved this place so much we we... More

We chose this restaurant on the basis of location (to accommodate folks living in three different cities) and my dad's selection to celebrate his 75th birthday. So while our reasons for my initial visit were primarily non-culinary, the food was so exceptional that I look forward to my return to the Bay Area from the East Coast for my next... More
