Description: Sister restaurant of Kokkari, Evvia has been serving beautiful and elegant...
Sister restaurant of Kokkari, Evvia has been serving beautiful and elegant Greek cuisine since 1995. Fabulous fish, savory roasted meats, and sun-soaked vegetables are jazzed up with a spritz of lemon, a little olive oil, and herbs. There is perfection in simplicity.

Lamb for the win!

Love it. Crowded, noisy, must have a reservation. Why? Because Evvia is consistently wonderful. I had some Octopus appetizer and succulent grilled lamb skewers (sorry - I can't remember the Greek names for the dishes). The service matched the food, so I have no trouble giving Evvia 5 stars. If they... read more

Read the reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to grab some lunch here on a visit to Palo Alto. I sat at the bar, I had lamb souvlaki and a glass of red wines. My meal was delicious.

I've been to some spectacular Greek restaurants in Chicago and in Los Angeles, but Evvia is as good as it gets. From Greek classics including spanitkopita, to hummus, to the tender and juicy lamb, the flavors are all spot on, and the atmosphere is beautiful. Try to get a seat near the oven, or in sight of it. It casts... More

I just really like this place and wish I could eat here more often. I find the ambiance very welcoming and cozy especially on cold winter nights with the wood burning fire. Food is consistently outstanding, no matter what you order. Lamb chops and souvlaki are spectacular. Octopus salad is also a winner. They also do a very nice job... More

Been coming here since it opened and the food and service have remained very good. They continually update the menu. Great for vegetarians and meat eaters. Usually when we go to Evvia's, we order several appetizers and a salad and share everything. i especially love the Evvia flatbread with carmelized onions. Make a reservation! My only complaint is that the... More

Evvia is the only real casual-upscale NY vibe restaurant in Palo alto with the quality of the food to match the expectation, if you like greek and are used to dine in big cities this is the place.

Dined with a party of 5. The host was warm and inviting upon entrance. We were promptly seated and presented an expansive wine list ($40-$2,400 range, most bottles $80-up) Quite a selection of old world reds, which I asked our server for recommendations after selecting our entrees. The 2 bottles paired nicely with our lamb chops and chicken. The roasted... More

On top of their game here from service to menu options to presentation and execution. Everything our party of 5 had, just terrific. Lamb superb (amble, delicious, lovely to look at), excellent fish (and 4 special fish entrees the night we were there), good apps, creative desserts (excellent creme brulee), good cappuccino, attentive staff...just a top notch establishment.

We had lamb chops and lamb skewers, both of which were fantastic. I thought the chops were the best I have had. Also had the salmon which was very good but not as spectacular as the lamb.
