Good vegetarian options, good service

Good vegetarian options - there are many appetizers that are vegetarian. Service is good. We had a great virgin margarita. The patzaria, zucchini cakes & evvia pita were very good. Biselosalata was also good. We will be back to try other items. Parking is street & free lots. Book on open table.

Went with a large group celebrating our 25th law school reunion. Everyone was in a good mood and we spent quite a lot. Although we were neither drunken nor boisterous, the owner chastised several members of the group for behaving inappropriately in a family restaurant. A previously nice evening became awkward. Still, the food was fresh and tasty. I especially... More

Evvia exceeded my expectations with everything. I love how cozy this place is and the decor of the restaurant as well. Hostess greeted us warmly when we arrived and got seated right away. We had mushrooms for appetizer which is very tasty. For our main course we had the lamb chop which is to die for. The lamb chop is... More

I have been to Evvia several times for lunch and dinner, essentially the same menu is available for both times. If you like Greek lamb, the is the place for you, they offer "hands down" the best lamb preparations of any restaurant in my recallable history. Service is professional, I have not had a wide range of the other dishes... More

A crowded and noisy restaurant, but that is because everybody is so enthousiast about the food. A true Greek taste and style but with superb ingredients. We had the best lamb chops we ever had (and believe me we had many). I most certainly will get back to try some of their other entrees. Suggestion: make early reservations as it... More

Love it. Crowded, noisy, must have a reservation. Why? Because Evvia is consistently wonderful. I had some Octopus appetizer and succulent grilled lamb skewers (sorry - I can't remember the Greek names for the dishes). The service matched the food, so I have no trouble giving Evvia 5 stars. If they could build a private parking garage, I would give... More

Read the reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to grab some lunch here on a visit to Palo Alto. I sat at the bar, I had lamb souvlaki and a glass of red wines. My meal was delicious.

I've been to some spectacular Greek restaurants in Chicago and in Los Angeles, but Evvia is as good as it gets. From Greek classics including spanitkopita, to hummus, to the tender and juicy lamb, the flavors are all spot on, and the atmosphere is beautiful. Try to get a seat near the oven, or in sight of it. It casts... More

I just really like this place and wish I could eat here more often. I find the ambiance very welcoming and cozy especially on cold winter nights with the wood burning fire. Food is consistently outstanding, no matter what you order. Lamb chops and souvlaki are spectacular. Octopus salad is also a winner. They also do a very nice job... More

Been coming here since it opened and the food and service have remained very good. They continually update the menu. Great for vegetarians and meat eaters. Usually when we go to Evvia's, we order several appetizers and a salad and share everything. i especially love the Evvia flatbread with carmelized onions. Make a reservation! My only complaint is that the... More
