After a long walk on the Shoreline Path we checked out TripAdvisor's restaurant recommendations on our phone and showed up at 12 Noon at their #1 choice without reservations. Despite being obviously packed, the hostess managed to find us a table and the outstanding service continued throughout the meal. Our waiter somehow found time to chat with us and really... More

From the front door greeting (very friendly) to the service...you are left to enjoy one of the best meals ever besides your own cooking (if you like to cook)! My favorite is the roasted branzino. This is the place to go for that special occasion but make your reservations way ahead of time.

We went here for a business lunch. We were able to get a reservation for 7 at the last minute. Once there I realized we were lucky...the place was very full for lunch. The service was prompt and very friendly. Despite the full capacity, the wait for our order was not very long. They had a good selection for lunch.... More

This is my go to place....fantastic whether you choose an entree or all appetizers. The lamb chops are my favorite and I have eaten my way through the menu.

After months of trying to get in, we snuck in quite late (9:45). It lived up to expectations, particularly as the place was shutting down. The food is terrific, the wine list is distinctive, and the service is great. The only issue is the ambiance, which can get a little raucous (which made it tough to hear people across our... More

Evvia is an informal and nice greek restaurant. Food is good and service is fast and accurate. A great way to start the meal is to eat the good bread with a pinch of salt and the olive oil served in a small dish. Semplicity mediterrenean style!

We searched trip advisor for a good place to eat on a Thursday night. Found Eviva as the number 1 in palo alto. Unfortunately it was a disappointment at best. The food was nothing special. Salmon was undercooked, lamb skewer was ok but with no flavor as u would expect from a Greek cuisine. The rotisserie chicken was the worst... More

The food is simply amazing! Extensive menu - especially the appetizer (mezethes) menu. Tried the kolokithokeftedes (zucchini balls) - they were very tasty. Tried the moussaka, whole grilled fish and Lamb chops. Everything was delicious.! Greek salad could have had fresh tomatoes from a local farm.

Recently dined with a large party at Evvia, of which afterwards the entire party was raving about our dining experience! Evvia does not have an extremely large dining room, and with no private side rooms, we were set up with 2 tables next to each other in the main dining room. The ambiance is loud and festive, so we fit... More
