Sister restaurant of Kokkari, Evvia has been serving beautiful and elegant Greek cuisine since 1995. Fabulous fish, savory roasted meats, and sun-soaked vegetables are jazzed up with a spritz of lemon, a little olive oil, and herbs. There is perfection in simplicity.

Come for the location and stay for the food. The appetisers are outstanding. Had the halibut and branzino - these were standouts. Until dessert and all I can day is leave room or you will live a life of regret.

This Greek inspired restaurant is filled with delectable menu choices and social ambiance. If you don't have a reservation for lunch or dinner there are 6 seats at the bar and Petar will take excellent care of you! From lamb dishes to Greek specialties to fresh fish you will be in heaven. We loved this place so much we we... More

We chose this restaurant on the basis of location (to accommodate folks living in three different cities) and my dad's selection to celebrate his 75th birthday. So while our reasons for my initial visit were primarily non-culinary, the food was so exceptional that I look forward to my return to the Bay Area from the East Coast for my next... More

Celebrated a birthday lunch and shared a few small plates. Had grilled octopus, spanikopita and a Greek salad. All were very fresh and tasty. Small portions and a little pricey though. Service was very good. Make a reservation for sure. Cute decor and space between tables. Would return.

Dined here for lunch with some business associates. Food and service was outstanding. Appetizers were fresh and tasty, try the octopus, zucchini and the dolmathes! My main course of lamb souvlaki was delicious.

We celebrated my sister's birthday at Evvia. The watermelon & feta appetizer was delicious as was the roasted cauliflower. The halibut had a wonderful smokey flavor and was on a bed of pearl couscous and fresh veggies. The different flavors were awesome and we are still talking about the memorable meal days later. The birthday dessert was the best custard... More

Great Greek food, probably the best restaurant in the Palo Alto area, which is saying a lot because there are just so many! Everything is delicious, but make sure to get the lamb, in any form. My sister never orders anything other than the lamb chops, which come with these really crispy and lemony potatoes. Be warned...its super hard to... More

If you plan ahead and make a reservation, the reward is well worth it! Melt-in-your-mouth lamb, amazing moussaka, generous portions, very attentive service, but I wish we had room for dessert! The only down side was the noise level was rather high, though that made it obvious others were enjoying the food and ambiance too!

If you are willing to wait months to get in and don't mind the sometimes excruciating Noise level you will find some of the best lamb dishes in the Bay Area..
