I was on a business trip to Palo Alto and Evvia was so good that I went there twice during my trip. The first night I have the Katsiki Yiouvetsi (braised goat), which was very tender, and had lots of flavor. The second night I had the lamb chops, which were the best I've had. Evvia Greek's food is delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable and intimate (although very upscale.) It's very expensive, typical for restaurants in Palo Alto, but worth it. The lamb is to die for, the moussaka is heavenly and the desserts are wonderful. Book ahead for weekends. more

This is a great place. We’ve been there several times and each time the food has been excellent. We go there for the food and not service. They tend to rush people to order fast, eat fast and get out. They actually get angry if you sit there for few minutes after dinner. Overall, good restaurant but sometime rude service. more
