Nice place with outdoor seating in Sheraton Palo Alto

After a flight from Chicago to SFO and a cab ride to Palo Alto I stopped in here for a nightcap and snack. Staff were very friendly. I had the garlic fries for a nosh, which were excellent. During past stays at this hotel, I have had nice breakfasts here.

Was staying at the Westin for a business meeting and decided to try the house restaurant for lunch with a colleague. We arrived at 1pm and were told the restaurant was closing until dinner time. After carrying on for a while, they agreed to seat us. Menu was extensive but we chose some quick meals in order to get out.... More

The beet salad with mint. Amazing! Highly recommended as is the charcuterie. Be sure to visit when you stay here.

We made reservations for 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day, and we were on time. While we waited, we watched as wait staff scurried around, taking chairs from the lobby area. All the while, the line behind us kept getting longer. After a while, it was painfully obvious that Soleil had overbooked. Finally, at 5:20, we were taken to a tiny... More

We were staying at the Westin and wanted to try the restaurant. We booked a table at Soleil but realized it was not necessary because there was only one other couple present. My husband ordered a burger and really enjoyed it...except for the fries. I ordered the salmon and it was not what I expected. It was a fried preparation... More

This is a very good breakfast buffet. The selections were well presented and the atmosphere was nice. The hostess and waiter were very nice. There was a large selection of fruit, hot items, cereals and pastries. One thing that annoys me at buffets is seeing small fleas around the pastries. This buffet was clean and I did not see any... Normally, I am not a breakfast person, coffee is it at home. Breakfasts, especially the buffet are fabulous. Omelets cooked to order, large selection of fruits, breads, rolls, hot items, endless supply of coffee and orange juice! Friendly staff. Can one ask for more? Not unless I can take it all home with me.

Since its inside of the Sheraton, it is a very convenient place to grab some breakfast before you head out. The food comes out fairly quickly and is pretty yummy! My favorite was the NY Steak and the salmon bagel dish. They also serve Starbucks coffee, which is a nice plus.

Quiet and fairly small. If you want a place to talk business, a good choice. High quality incredients on the buffet breakfast.
