Well recommended...but...

Access to a table was very fast, even though the place was buzzing. Good service, good coffee and they do have honey for those of us who won't use sugar. The plates are hidden beneath a ton of food. While it seems most people love their hash browns, those potatoes are NOT hash browns; they're more... read more

Had a Fantastic breakfast here while on business travel recently. The resturaunt is down the road from the marriott courtyard. I had the de anza hashbrowns which was excellent. Colleagues of mine had omelette which were huge and served with an enormous slice of delicious walnut coffee cake . The service was top notch too. Excellent service and great food... More

Their Mission says it all: "...We care about our guest's experience and our crew's development ... taking the extra step at every level to BE THE BEST we can be!" They do .... and it's palpable! Having been away from our first visit to Hobee's about 7 years ago we were delighted upon entering Hobee's in Palo Alto on a... More

Clean, eclectic, and servers always helping out. Great food and a really fun time. We almost decided to go there for Mother's Day brunch instead of to a much more expensive nearby hotel.

A stones throw from the Hilton Garden Inn, as well as many other hotels. The Hobee's restaurant is an amazing cute little local joint. Although, I only had breakfast there, it was booming with a regulars local Sunday crowd. The wait staff was very warm and welcoming. The speed and efficiency of the service , amazing! I had one of... Nothing special but it did the job. Right next to the Garden Inn. Very servers. Have to get some coffee cake.

We had breakfast here a few years ago, but I didn't review it then for some reason. I do remember the place being mobbed, having to wait for a table and enjoying our meal despite the hustle and bustle of the place. This time, we showed up at 7:30 p.m. and found the place only partially populated and a lot... More

Back again and again happy. Hobee's has to be one of the most friendly and accommodating restaurants in our Bay Area itinerary. We visit the area annually and invited friends on our second day to dine with us. Nothing has changed. Great menu, friendly waitstaff, and a chance to sit and renew acquaintances. We had the linguini with salmon which... More

The cinnamon tea at Hobee's is the big reason that I come back. The tea has a bite! I also think that the food is fantastic - huevos rancheros with a blueberry muffin is the perfect brunch.

Hobee's is a local tradition for breakfast. They also serve breakfast for dinner. I'm picky about my over easy eggs and I've always had my eggs cooked to my liking on the first try. You also get a choice of warm coffee cake or toast with your breakfast. We always choose the coffee cake. Sometimes a co-worker orders a full... More
