The food at this restaurant is excellent (we had a crunchy spinach salad started - can't remember exact name; butter chicken, eggplant veggie dish; garlic and regular nan; white jasmine rice). Everything tasted great - we cleaned our plates and were absolutely full! Portions are big. Nice seating outside on the patio. Service was good, food came out fairly fast.... More

The place is nice, ambiance is good, but the food compared to price offered is very expensive. The menu options are very limited. Can be a good last option if you are not able find some Indian food around.

Nice place, convenient, good service-- pity about the food. Indian fusion is a tough brief, and having eaten there twice, I'm giving up on Amber. Cauliflower was bathed in cream and bland. Ordering a lamb curry, the waiter warned "its very hot" . . . um its very not; not much taste, not a hint of heat. Stuffed naan is... More

The restaurant sits back off the main street. The restrooms leave much to be desired, but the wait staff are friendly and attentive. Prices for the main meals are a little high for what you get, but we highly recommend the appetizers. The sauces served with the naan and the trio palaak paneer hit just the right notes of Indian... Enjoyed a variety of tastes and flavors eating with a moderately sized group. Well prepared but unremarkable appetizers and entrees left us content. Good mix of cocktails offered though they seemed smaller than what you'd typically expect. Service was a little rushed and uncoordinated but I'll write that off due to the crowd we were with. Definitely willing to try... More

Food was great, fresh ingredients, quite authentic, service good. Lunch menu was good value for this area. We had the non vegi thale for lunch, good variety of dishes. Also try the Bombay ginger ale, made with fresh ginger and raspberries.

We were very impressed with the service - knowledgeable helpful, there was no pressure to hurry up and choose or even to vacate the restaurant even though every one else had left. The okra dish was particularly good, the butter chicken was a bit too sweet for our taste but overall it was very good and we'd go again.

The food is very good, and the atmosphere is fine. But the portions are a bit small for the price. Still, a nice meal.

What was good: - I liked the place - quick attentive unobtrusive service. They keep engaged with you without much verbiage - seating options are extensive inside and outside the place. - The food is very much of fusion cuisine with a strong Indian flavor (think garlic naans with no butter). BUT if you like Indian authentic taste with the... More
