We had a family lunch here. The worst Thai restaurant I have ever been to. The food was really bad; everyone dislike the food. The toilet was even worst than the good. I am glad that I did not go there before finishing my food as I would have thrown up. Don't ever come here.

9 of us (including 3 kids) ate here at lunchtime on a Saturday. I ate lemongrass chicken with salad and my wife had a tofu clay pot. The good: 1) There was a large table that seated all of us. 2) There's a good variety of noodle dishes and other Asian/Vietnamese dishes. 3) Clean place, responsive staff, good location in... More

The food here is good, but it's a very sterile atmosphere. It's too dark at lunchtime, and sometimes too cold. Kind of expensive for lunch. Even the banh mi is expensive if you compare it to an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, but it's tasty.

...because we waited 20 minutes (no kidding) for someone....., anyone, to bring us even a glass of water. Then, we got up and walked out. Had to grab a quick bite at Paris Baguette instead. When I got back to the office, it seems I was the only one that thought it might be a great place for lunch. Sure... More

I went there for dinner with my family. The food is nothing special seriously nothing special. You don't get the feeling of any special taste or spice. The foods have mild taste. I saw that everyone ordered soap there. maybe the soap is special there. BTW, They don't have kids menu.

went for dinner and there were only a few other people there. Nice quiet atmosphere and the decor is pleasing. The food was good, nothing spectacular and the prices were reasonable , 2 of us ate for $40

Eat here dinner yesterday. The place is very informal, friendly and laid back. Service was quick and friendly. The dishes were good, specifically the mango chicken should be mentioned. Prices are very reasonable. probably not the place to celebrate your anniversary, but very good for a casual evening.

No flavour and poor consistency. My appetizer of a spring roll was also bland. Thai food should jump off the plate with flavour and freshness. I didn't get that.

Let's face it. When you want authentic Vietnamese, you do not come to Palo Alto for it. But in Madame Tam, what you'll get is a slight "adjusted" food that satisfies your once-in-a-while craving for a bowl of piping hot pho or some grilled prawn vermicelli salad in a contemporary decor and friendly staff. It's not the most authentic Vietnamese... More

In down town palo alto, its hard to find good asian food. This place is not bad. The pho is good and the rice vermicelli is great! If you are dieing for an asian fix. This is the spot to do it.
