Good food on the upper price scale

Nice place with outdoor seating. However tables are usually not too clean and one has to ask for it to be cleaned. Salads are a bit overpriced and not served with a slice of bread. Something to work on! However food is good otherwise.

Also, pricey with small portion sizes. I suppose that makes a visit to Lyfe good for people on a diet. I had the Mahi fish tacos, quinoa crunch wrap and hibiscus-beet juice. The Mahi fish tacos did not fill me up for dinner. I thought the quinoa crunch wrap didn't sound very good, but I was wrong! It was absolutely... More

We stopped here for breakfast after the famers market on a Saturday morning. Order at counter and they bring the food out....Somehow my entire order was wrong, no latte, wrong food order. We were a table of six and all orders were right but mine. They did correct the coffee, but since all others at the table had their food,... More

Had such high hopes for Lyfe after reading the reviews. I'm not vegetarian but was searching for a healthier option but this place was such a letdown. The Kale salad (daily special) came so overdressed in vinaigrette it was impossible to finish, and the soba and fish dish was terrible (I think it's not even on the menu anymore I... More

This place serves the best food in Palo Alto: simple, straightforward, healthy, delicious and cheap. I managed to get there only once so far, but it could easily become my favorite spot for a casual meal. If you care about healthy food and you prefer it tasty - this is the right place to go.

I come here from time to time for breakfast, and typically alternate between the classic breakfast and the breakfast sandwich. They pride themselves on healthier food and it's pretty tasty as well. They also have wifi and good coffee if you need to get some work done.

I went there with friends recently. I am vegan, so it's great to be able to eat somewhere that has great vegan options, but my non vegan friends are not limited either. One cool thing is that they have 3 menus..regular, vegan and gluten free. The food is imaginative, and delicious! Especially good was the butternut-lemon grass soup. The guacamole... More

Last weekend was the second time that I visited Lyfe Kitchen. My first time was not so good. Service was extremely slow at that time (it took about 45 minutes for the entrees to arrive!). That's why it took me another year to check it out again. The second time's better. I really enjoyed Art's Unfried Chicken with roasted brussel... More

We were 4, all of us were very happy with the food, including sides, mains, salads. The Lemonade and Pomegranate-Lemonade are both really good. 4 stars only, due to the small portions which makes it a must to order a side dish (or another main).

My friend had told me about this place, we're both vegetarians, so I was curious. I had Lyfe food on a Delta airline a few years ago and it was delicious, above (way above) my expectation on airplane food. I still remember the veggie dip they had on that one flight and it was the best dip I ever had!... More
