Good healthy breakfast option

I come here from time to time for breakfast, and typically alternate between the classic breakfast and the breakfast sandwich. They pride themselves on healthier food and it's pretty tasty as well. They also have wifi and good coffee if you need to get some work done.

This place serves the best food in Palo Alto: simple, straightforward, healthy, delicious and cheap. I managed to get there only once so far, but it could easily become my favorite spot for a casual meal. If you care about healthy food and you prefer it tasty - this is the right place to go.

I went there with friends recently. I am vegan, so it's great to be able to eat somewhere that has great vegan options, but my non vegan friends are not limited either. One cool thing is that they have 3 menus..regular, vegan and gluten free. The food is imaginative, and delicious! Especially good was the butternut-lemon grass soup. The guacamole... More

Last weekend was the second time that I visited Lyfe Kitchen. My first time was not so good. Service was extremely slow at that time (it took about 45 minutes for the entrees to arrive!). That's why it took me another year to check it out again. The second time's better. I really enjoyed Art's Unfried Chicken with roasted brussel... More

We were 4, all of us were very happy with the food, including sides, mains, salads. The Lemonade and Pomegranate-Lemonade are both really good. 4 stars only, due to the small portions which makes it a must to order a side dish (or another main).

My friend had told me about this place, we're both vegetarians, so I was curious. I had Lyfe food on a Delta airline a few years ago and it was delicious, above (way above) my expectation on airplane food. I still remember the veggie dip they had on that one flight and it was the best dip I ever had!... More

I love healthy food and eat it all the time, so I was delighted when a friend suggested Lyfe. I ordered a ginger veggie stirfry, but I couldn't taste any ginger and the meal was extremely bland. The menu looked great, so maybe I just chose badly. I liked the fact that there were vegan, gluten-free etc. menus, chia mint... More

When this restaurant opened it was definitely a fresh alternative to heavy menu items at other local places. It was a nice place to have a light lunch during the work day. But, having gone back recently for dinner with the family, we were soooo disappointed. The flatbreads have lost some of their flavor. We paid over $8 for a... More

This was my go to place in Palo Alto for a quick healthy meal that I did not have to worry about. I went by myself two weeks ago and was extremely disappointed in the food and the service. I had gone in for a late lunch and ordered the red thai dish - when it came - it was... More

Counter order / table service restaurant catering to those trying to eat healthy. Nice airy bright atmosphere with beech, bamboo and light grey tones in front, refined and more subdued in back and nice patio seating of the sidewalk in front. Food quality and preparation appear to be attended to very well. The costs are VERY reasonable given the quality,... More
