I love this place, the service, the atmosphere and the menu. It's hard to get a table if you don't plan in advanced, but it's so well located that you can stop by and make a reservation, go out for a walk in the open mall, and they'll call you when the table is ready... what else can you ask... This is not the place to have an intimate conversation, but our nephew suggested it as with his schedule this place fits the bill and he eats here a lot. . You will find that the food is excellent, and parking may be an issue in this shopping center, but locals love it! I had the short ribs with cippolini... More

I really like the Mayfield Bakery and Cafe and want to love it. It's in the Town and Country Shopping Center near Stanford and is very convenient. So what's good? The food I've had has all been excellent. The kitchen is obviously staffed by folks that know what they're doing. Portions can be large (burgers and fries) or small (deconstructed... More

We've eaten at Mayfield a number of times and we've always enjoyed the farm to table fresh ingredients and modern approach to the old time favorites. We also enjoy the coffee, great quality in extra large cups. We always sit outside and enjoy the company of Mayfield's old oak tree, which is a big plus.

We stopped into the Cafe fairly late as to the dinner hour but they treated us great! Had to sit at the Bar since it was busy, but it was a terrific experience. Learned how they work from the hidden kitchen while chickens roasted on a rotisserie between the hidden kitchen and the Bar. Watched the bakers working through the... More

Nice atmosphere if you are sitting outdoors in nice weather. They definitely do not rush you. Staff is very casual and attentive. Food is very average and definitely overpriced even though they tout organic.

This is a great place for lunch - I love the outdoor tables. Dinner is a little pricey, but the food is very good, and so is the bread.

Surprisingly good spot near campus with excellent food from sandwiches to fish/steaks. Great casual spot for lunch/dinner. Very busy for both so make reservations.

We recently ate at Mayfield Bakery for breakfast. It was lovely to sit outside where there was plenty of seating. Everything we ordered was delicious- fresh squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs whites, granola and yogurt, hot chocolate, and strawberry French toast. But these items added up to $57 for breakfast. The orange juice alone was $7. Service was very spotty.

Local family took us here for dinner. We found the atmosphere charming and the service good. We had a nice bottle of wine and all five of us ordered the fried chicken special-- it was out of this world! We really had a lovely evening there and complimented our aunt on her choice.
