Disappointing margaritas, redeemed by excellent food

Excellent Mexican fare. Margaritas were so-so. Difficult to convince them not to mess about with their margaritas and the well drink was distinctly ordinary. The food more than made up for it however. Authentic, fresh flavors, sophisticated menu with a few more pedestrian items thrown in for the... read more

The food was really good. The tacos were freshly prepared and the pork was as tender as it should be.

I suppose I should have guessed that this was a Mexican restaurant. I had no idea. It was that good. In Asia, I associate Mex or Tex-Mex restaurants with beans and burritos. But this had a tasty variety of food that were tastefully presented. We were a largish group so we did a lot of sharing. We all left very... More

I really like the location and the ambiance. They also have great drinks and I love the Margaritas. Every time I eat there, though, I am underwhelmed with the food. It's just OK. No great flavors , nothing outstanding. It's an OK place to eat but there are way better in Palo alto . I wish there was one dish... More

Had a great business dinner hear in July 2015. Menu was unexpected - not the typical mexican fare, that's for sure. Drinks are excellent - margaritas recommended. I had halibut, which I enjoyed. The hamachi tuna starter was divine. Enjoy excellent attentive service, food, and beverage. The room has a vaulted ceiling and there is a lot of seating -... More

What a great restaurant...food was delicious with a huge variety of Margaritas. Menu offered a range of dishes from basic fare to steak and lobster dishes. Really a fun and loud place for dinner on a Saturday night!

Great service, great food, perfectly mixed margaritas. Olé! I have been to several happy hours as well as large birthday parties here. They do a great job of keeping up with a crowd. I have also been to smaller, more intimate dinner and the service is highly attentive.

Good looking space, with plenty of space. Front opens up to the outside. Fun for beautiful nights. Service is fast and efficient. Good is generally good, although plates are small. Glaciers are very good, although some traditional options would be nice. Very loud. Conversationally challenged. Would go back.

Big, open, airy space, with a huge tequila selection, and excellent margaritas. I tried the pollo con mole, was very good, as was the queso con chorizo appetizer. Kind of loud, but festive. The waiter was super awesome, with lots of honest advice and even a lesson or two on how to pronounce menu items. Most nights you should have... More

I was there several times with mixed experience. The place is nice with great atmosphere but the food varies. Last time there for a late lunch with my wife, the food was terrible. i had some sea food that was too spicy and didn't taste that well. about 45 minutes after lunch I had strong stomach pain followed with sever...
