It may be a good restaurant for locals who don't know very much about Mexican food. Cappuccino was not hot neither was the cafe latte. Lunch special was ok. Ensalada betabel was described as serve with goat cheese instead it was given with Mexican fresh cheese. BIG DIFFERENCE IN FLAVOR. Black beans were flavorless and when brought to the attention... This is a NICE, upscale restaurant...not your regular Mexican. Our waiter was super friendly and very attentive. The menu offered something for everyone, even a vegetarian. Our group of three were carnivores. We each ordered something different but gave a small portion to the others, allowing us to try 2 other entrees. My boss had the seafood crepes (delish), my... Visited for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The waiter was terrific, friendly and helpful. It is not cheap - especially for lunch but I would go back. I had the chicken quesadilla which had a great flavor and was nicely cooked - probably in a skillet to get the hot crispness. The jicama side salad was delicious too. My colleagues... More

This is a nice restaurant in downtown Palo Alto. This is not a regular tex mex restaurant. It is nice, upscale and has a very unique menu for a mexican restaurant. We tried short ribs and enchiladas and both were delicious, well prepared and flavorful. Service was good and prompt. Ambience was casual, upscale. The restaurant fills up fast so... More

I have been a number of times and now always get the lunch special which changes frequently. Presentation is fabulous and portion sizes allow for an order of guacamole ahead of time. The place tends to fill quickly and does get noisy.

This buzzy restaurant just seems to have lost its edge since I was last here a year ago, the food is good and tasty but I think its no longer feels like it is cutting edge. It comes across as just too noisy and no longer worth suffering for the food.

The food is absolutely, absolutely amazing, as is the made to order margarita on their extensive list. They come in two sizes. Just go for the big one. As far as food - we never go without getting their handmade guac and chips. Their plantains are wonderful too. I like to sit at the bar and have a variety of... More

We went in on a Monday night. It was incredibly loud. Of the 5 margaritas on the menu 2 we're not available. We got the "special" margarita and there was nothing special about it. We asked for the kids food to be brought out quickly as it was already 8:00. Mac & cheese took 45 mins. When the waitress was... More

One star knocked down for slow service and price; otherwise this is a great interesting restaurant with upscale Mexican fusion food. The highlight of the evening was the seafood crepe (fresh and full of crabs) and even the corn on the side is also fresh and sweet! We also love the chip, salsa and guacamole (Note it's not complimentary like... More
