Good food... worth a try... good change from usual stuff...

Went here for a sunday lunch... Good part is that place has at least couple of vegetarian options... having said that the Jerk Tofu will never taste as good as a Jerk Chicken / Pork... :) The Ital Stew was very good... The Service is good and the portions are decent sized. The fried... read more

Coconuts Caribbean did not disappoint. We had heard about the food and wanted to try it. We didn't need a reservation even though the place was quite full. No sooner had we sat and the waiter was sharing the drinks menu. We ordered two cocktails: the Painkiller (combo of mango and something) and the Smooth & Dark (combo of ginger... More

Great lunch experience. Good service. Try the sea bass on the coconut or the oxtail. We are skipping desert today, such generous dishes

The atmosphere is Caribbean laid back. The service was prompt. And the food was delicious! You can dine in or on the patio. One of my favorite spots to go when I'm in the area. Great place eats after you explore Palo Alto offerings. Live music

One of our friends took us here in our new home town. Even after a month here I've become accustomed to $30-$40 entrees everywhere I go. This is a super casual restaurant downtown that's pretty cheap with entrees from $11 - $16 for combo entrees. The jerk is limy and spicy and the curry is light and sweet. The decor... More

Went there with family and friends. The appetizers were very nice. The main dishes were very good. Had the jerk salmon and it was very good. large portions. You may want to cut on the appetizers and enjoy the main dishes. Will certainly go back. Parking can be a problem

This restaurant has a great ambiance, with all the vibrant colors and the music you feel like you're on a tropical island away from everything. If the weather is nice I recommend sitting outside in the patio. R & I came here on Sunday at around 2 and it was kinda of empty, but who cares! R had the Kiwi... More

Coconuts offers pretty good Caribbean fare in the heart of downtown. The jerk chicken is particularly good, though it could be a bit spicier. Also delicious are the red beans and rice. And, of course, the rum drinks are a must!

Finally an establishment that knows how to make the Jamaican staples of Rice and Peas, Oxtail Stew and Curried Goat! (Insert sound effects: Angels going "Ahhhhhh" and harps playing in the background). I came across Coconuts while we looking for some place to eat in the Palo Alto area. After many other attempts to find food from home (yaad) from... More

Birthday party dinner for a girlfriend - authentic Jamaican food, specialties are the jerked chicken and pork - we ordered both with plantains and dirty rice, and had a wide variety of the appetizers with Caribbean cocktails! This is my third time here - the place is always very noisy and warm - so if you are eating spicy, hot... More
