Brilliant place for meat lovers and people with an appetite! Surprisingly a very nicely laid out salad bar for vegetarians .. there are some good veg options on the menu as well.. bar is cheerful and the service is prompt .. eat till you can!

To start, there is alot of food. I will admit, I know nothing of the salad bar. Why? I need to space in my stomach for the meat. Pampas has a nice environment. Staff is friendly and helpful and on Saturdays they have live music playing. Crowd tends to be more towards the 20-30 year old market. Parking is usually... More

This was my first visit to Pampas in Palo Alto. The food was pretty good. The meats were terrific, but the salad bar selection was disappointingly limited. The restaurant was quite loud, and the lighting was far too bright. Turning both down a few notches would greatly improve the experience.

When the "Feed me" card gets turned to green, brace yourself. So much meat, SO tasty!!! Definately sample around and try to figure out which meats you like the best, then just wait for those to cycle around. Not that any of it wasn't delicious, but my favorite was the skirt steak. The salad bar was excellent as well. Loaded... More

We had a private room downstairs and got served a nice quite heavy Pinot Noir to start and then we had the normal Rodizio type of bbq experience. It was quite close to the experience I had when I lived in Brazil. The salad buffet could have been better but the meats were great. We also got, after ordering separately,... More

Love their Rodizhio! Their salad bar is amazing!! And great selection of wines. Would love to listen a live tango trio! Or a couple of tango dancers and would be perfect!!

We had an experience with Brazilian Restaurant in San Mateo and had reasonable expectation about service and variety of food in similar places. Our waiter provide us with a menu containing 30 different types of meat and poultry to be serve on ongoing basis. We ordered wine by the glasses and it was quite good. Unfortunately in reality only 6... More

Dined here as part of a large group. Started with a cocktail hour in the lower part of the restaurant/bar area. Appetizers were very good, however, given the limited size of the area, it was a bit hard to socialize. Dinner was good with a wide variety of meats as part of our arranged menu. Lamb, Turkey, Filet, Chicken all... More

You can get a meat buffet at a lot of places. Rodizhio style restaurants are fairly prevalent and many do a good job, but many don't. It comes down to execution and Pampas has it. The space is open, modern, stylish, and welcoming. The high ceiling accommodate a clever center structure that splits dining into two levels. It's a frat... More

When you like meat, this is the place to go. In contrast to other Brazilian restaurants, they do not try to fill you up with the cheaper meats before bringing the good stuff, first meat serviced was the fillet, which was excellent, perfectly grilled and juicy. From all the meats they brought the sirloin was the best, rich in flavors... More
