Japanese restaurants come and go in Palm Springs, and the ones that remain are mediocre and expensive. And they tend to confuse a knife-twirling side show with good food and service. Wasabi is consistently good with respectful, professional service. We've given up on the others, and return here time after time. Their sashimi is invariably fresh; their organic Pugliese Pinot... The food was very good and plentiful. I met 4 friends who were traveling separately. The hostess put seats together for us ahead of their arrival. I ordered a Saporo and when everyone arrived our orders were taken quickly, food was served efficiently. Everyone thought their food was tasty. I ordered the teriyaki salmon and it was incredibly tender. After... More

Even though we saw some bad reviews of this place, we wanted to try it ourselves. The place is small like the hole on the wall. The decor does need a little bit of help. Otherwise, it's clean and quaint! The servers are friendly and attentively perhaps some can perceive as overbearing! The food is fresh and simple. We ordered... More

Arrived about 6:00 p.m. to a half full restaurant, at most, ordered three sushi rolls and waited nearly 1 hour for our food!! Three different servers asked for our order in the span of 20 minutes which began to make us nervous. I don't know if the food was good because by the time we got it we were so... More

We went on a monday Night and there were very few People which made the restaurant Nice and quiet. We ordered 6 different rolls which were all very good. Especially the rolls that were more special like the 'fire cracker' were delicious. When they write spicy they really mean spicy ;-) All rolls were made fresh when we ordered, which... More

I love sushi and try many places. This one is up there with the good ones. The service is good, the food is pretty good too. We left very satisfied with our experience.

Being on a medical diet, I can recommend this restaurant as they are willing to prepare food as specifically ordered to meet my dietary requirements. Was able to enjoy Japanese cuisine for a reasonable price.

Went here on a Tuesday night. Not very busy. We ordered a lot of food. The best food of the night: soft shell crab roll and uni. The yellow tail and tuna was nothing to write home about. Even though we were sitting at the sushi bar, the chef served our sushi order on a large plate which made sharing... More

My kids and I have been 3 times now and looking forward to visit 4. Friendly staff, great tasting sushi. I don't feel they are overpriced, as the sushi is excellent. I wish they had an all you can eat night!

This was my first experience dining in Palm Springs and everyone here was very friendly. I had a tempura bento box with California roll, salad, miso soup and rice. It was prepared and presented very nicely, and tasted very good. Best of all was that it was less expensive than I thought it would be! Definitely a go-to place while... More
