The food is fresh and delicious. It's also very close to downtown so you can have a nice stroll after you have dinner.

I really like Japanese food, tempura being my favorite. My daughters really like sashimi and sushi, and they were happy with what they ordered. One of my daughters ordered the Rainbow Roll and the other daughter, being less adventurous, ordered the California roll. My tempura was very good; light, not greasy, and there was a good variety of veggies. I... More

So, I scrolled through all the ratings on here before making my Desert Sushi selection and because of "expensive" comments chose Happy Sushi. Super Happy I did. The appetizers, Sushi, Sashimi, Service, Ginger, Saki were all EXCELLENT. Perhaps it was our friendly, positive entrance near closing time that brought us the chefs best efforts, but he really put together a... More

Good quality fish but VERY small portions. their 8 pc is rolled so thin it is a bit of a rip off. The Sushi chef was VERY nice and I was alone at the counter so it was nice he took time to speak to me.

I love sushi, so I had to go in. The place was empty and I was the only diner. Looks like most tourists want pizza and taco's. Very good sushi, seaweed salad and rolls. Best value I ever had at any sushi bar. Try the watermelon sakitini.

Nice staff but extremely slow service, food is expensive and while not horrible, certainly not worth the price. Inconsistent service...had two orders of $7 California Rolls (already expensive) and one came out without avocado inside. Not only did they taste horrible, but they were a rip. Won't be returning.

As an easterner in California, I expected quality sushi...so I ordered a California roll. Perhaps the worst I've ever had. The rice was mushy and the shredded mystery fish had some type of creamy binder to hold it together. It's hard to believe that these people can stay in business with this level of quality. But location in the heart... More

Sushi on the strip, seating outside, we had a great time! Luckily it wasn't busy, we got seating outside so my two kids could run around without disturbing anyone else. :). They brought out the kids udon first, which was awesome. My kids finished the bowl of udon, teriyaki chicken was good, sushi was incredibly fresh. We would totally go... More

Agedashi tofu not prepared properly & just served in a soup of soy sauce. Did not eat, server did not say anything about us not eating it. Cucumber salad just cukes & lemon wedges. Hair in the ginger & when we pointed it out server did nothing, not even an apology. Then when bill came they overcharged us for the... More

I had lunch here prior to going to the Follies across the street. I don't like miso soup so the waiter agreed to substitute it with rice. The waiter was cheerful and friendly and offered suggestions. I chose the tempura lunch which came with salad and the rice. This would have been best served in a bento box..however it was... More
