I go there to purchase BREAD.

Some go for lunch, etc. but I go there to purchase BREAD; and they have as many types of bread as you could wish for. Worth going out of your way for their BREAD.

A friend recommended this bakery specifically for its carrot raisin bran muffins. These muffins are without a doubt the BEST muffins bar none that I have ever had and I don't even like muffins generally. I had to eat it with a knife and fork, it's that dense and delicious and crumbly. I am also a big eater but half... More

Love this place! Everything they make is fresh and delicious. The employees are very friendly and hard working. Their sandwiches are made on their home made breads and are huge! Gotta try them.

I haven't actually been to the bakery but I did buy their Sunflower bread at the College of the Desert Market and it is absolutely delicious! I can't wait to try more varieties of their breads. Natural and few ingredients-not all the preservatives and crap in other commercial breads.

Haven't been in the area for many years but were pleased this place is still around. Great variety of breads (Spinach/Onion or Jalapeno/Cheddar are favorites). Bought the carrot bran muffins on a whim and they were much better than expected.

Nice place offering yummy food. They have a very nice patio area, but we didn't use it because we took the food to go (for our local hikes, and also when we went to Joshua Tree Nat'l Pk). Our hotel (Desert Riviera) suggested Aspen Mills -- good choice. Very good sandwiches / quick service.

The breads and sweets are delicious. If you can't get to their store, they are usually at the Thursday night village feast and the street fair at College of the Desert.

Specialty breads different each day. Breads are made with natural whole wheat, sweetened with light amber honey, salt sparingly used. Contains no fats, no oils no dairy products. (One must get those essentials elsewhere.) On the healthy non essentials the bread has no processed sugars, flavors, additives or preservatives. Just entering this cafe one is overwhelmed with wonderful aromas that... More

I go in every week for a loaf of their 9 grain bread. The cashier(s) are always friendly and helpful. The other delights are way too tempting so I try to get in and out quickly as they give samples! Aspen Mills is also present at the weekly Palms Spring Thursday night street fair "Vilage Fest" in the Farmer's Market... More

Great home made type sandwiches. These are mid priced for sandwiches. Plenty of inside seating. Outdoor patio is better in afternoon or evening when the sun is behind the building. They bring you order to your table after it is made. It takes about 5 minutes after placing an order for you to be served with the actual food. Besides... More
