A great NY style deli restaurnat

... One of the two great NY style delis in Palm Springs. Manhattan is a little south of downtown in a nice comfortable building. All the sandwiches are piled high with meats and the prices are typical of a good deli. Huge variety of meats and combos. Ask to be seated in the back in the raised... read more

Excellent food, large portions and great service. Moderately priced. They have dinner specials you should check out. There is a bakery up front with a wide assortment of pastries and desserts. Tip--ask for pickles, they are a free condiment and a real treat.

This is a New York style deli with a voluminous menu. I find the food to be just OK. My husband seems to like the food better than I do. The service is somewhat sporadic and there is an attitude of everyone there doing you a favor in serving you. They are usually crowded and there can be a wait... More

Visiting Palm Springs, CA, for a week. Went to Manhattan in the Desert. Marriott had recommended it to us. Went for the early bird (4-6pm) $ 11.99 for complete dinner. One person had the country fried steak with the white gravy, mashed potatoes, zucchini vegetables and to start it off a large garden salad. Another had a Caesar salad, corned... More

If you want a good brisket or corn beef smoked meat NY style this is by far the best place out be the west, once you come in you will feel like your in New York. Come hungry because they give you big portions. I would definitely come again and recommend that place if you like a good corn beef... More

After having such a great meal at the Palm Desert location I was very disappointed at the meal I had at the Palm Springs location. A friend and I went there on Friday, July 3, I was told the meat loaf was fantastic, so I ordered it. The meal came wuth soup or salad, steamed vegetables and I had a... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Palm Springs area. It takes me back to my youth when my mother would take my brother and me to some of the top ranked Jewish delis in New York. The menu is quite extensive and if you can't find something that makes your mouth water, you are just not hungry.... More

i used to go to Sherman's on Country Club, but I always ask for medium rare roast beef and didn't get it. So, a woman at a business office said why don't you try Manhattan's on Highway 111 in the Palm Desert that is located where LG's used to be. It is the same price as Sherman's and yes ,... More

Enjoyed this deli for brunch during my visit to Palm Springs. The wait staff knew my acquaintance which made for a friendly meal. Large variety--What do you expect from a deli? Nice a/c while taking a reprieve from the outdoor heat.

I like deli. I miss deli. The only chance I get to eat deli is when visiting my family in Palm Springs. Our first choice is the Manhattan. First of all I have to give respect to the wait staff. They are patient, friendly and helpful even when my Aunt barks out orders like Extra Napkins! Dressing on the side!... More
