This place does a very nice job of making a New Yorker feel like they are back in a deli in Manhattan. The matzah ball soup is amazing and the stuffed cabbage is excellent. A must in PSP.

We travel to Palm Springs every year on our way to Arizona, and no trip would be complete without a visit to Manhattan in the Desert! There are no Jewish delis near where we live in Central California and I dream of the corned beef sandwich, potato salad and Kosher dill pickle I get to have at this great restaurant... More

This was a great experience all round. We went for breakfast and the choice was amazing, being from the UK we were not used to the wide range of breakfast choices and I went for the pastrami and egg bagel which was amazing. The food was tasty, and all 4 of us enjoyed it. The waiter was friendly and the... More

Returned here after many years and nothing, I mean nothing, has changed the televisions should be on Antiques Road Show. Large menu choice, good food, good value. Not fine dining but you know what you will get. We will be back.

We went as ax party of six for dinner. None of us was happy with our selections. Brisket was tough and quite tasteless. If they can't get that right there's not much hope for anything else. The service was fairly abrupt but quite swift; we were out quite quickly. That was the saving grace as I've eaten in hospital cafeterias... More

It has been a very very long time since I have had a hot pastrami sandwich as good, it was truly east coast...... the setting is outstanding, unfortunately a little out of the way, in between Palm Springs and Cathedral City, you have to know where you are going, but it is worth the trip.... not sure it is one... We have eaten at Manhattan in the Desert probably a dozen times. Breakfast and Lunch, March of this year. Food and service is always excellent. Always busy so be prepaired to wait for a table at peak eating hours.

Had a great breakfast at Manhattan at the desert. Great service and food. Very cool deli with Jewish deli style pickles and meats. Full bakery with delectable goodies. They make their own bagels that are fantastic.

My husband's pastrami sandwich literally would not fit in my mouth. Of course, he made it work. I had a turkey Reuben. Very tasty deli.
