Went for lunch yesterday afternoon and the place was packed as usual, we would have been seated right away but had requested a specific waiter, Luis, who is very good, the entire staff is all very good but we like the efficient service Luis provides. This is a surprisingly good deli. The pastrami, bread, half-sour pickles (which they call "new") are all really fresh and tasty. My daughter loved the chocolate chip pancakes. We used to go to Sherman's but this place is appreciably better. We look forward to visiting again when we get back to Palm Springs. more

a real New York style deli/bakery/diner. We shared a salmon plate with delicious potato salad and bagels. Not the cheapest, but worth every penny and very nicely presented. Would definately go back again. more
