the name says it all

we love to go and get sliced meat at the deli counter; and they have wonderful coleslaw and potato salads and bagels. We prefer their cakes over other Jewish style restaurants. We have only used take out, but a slice of cake easily feeds 6 people!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of our first stops in the desert! Amazing New York style sandwiches and the portions are gigantic! They have so much more to offer, salads, lox, even breakfast! Highly recommended! You can get box lunch for a wonderful hike at the Living Desert which is close!!

Always go to Manhattan in the Desert when we arrive in PSP, and not disappointed. Suggest, if you just want a sandwich, they are BIG enough to share. Then you have room for their SPECTACULAR array of desserts!

We picked up a takeout sandwich and a mini-cake for desert to take on our trip on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. (Don't miss that, BTW!) The sandwich was gigantic, as in you can't open your mouth that wide. I ended up knife-and-forking mine with one of the pieces of bread removed. The Twinkie-like little cake was decadent; I'll probably... More

Two breakfasts this week... with one year old grandson in tow...service and food quality very good. Lots of New York touches including lox, whitefish and pickeld herring. Generous sandwiches reminded me of Carnegie's in NYC. Will certainly return on a future trip.

We were a party of 6, seated quickly and had pickles within minutes. I had a tuna melt and the rest of the group had burgers or soup and salad. All was yummy and nothing left over. We also stayed the resort so we were within waling distance for pastries in the morning.

Ok, this is the place to go if you really want to eat big portions and with low budget, knowing the end of the world is the next day! It's just amazing, the service, the food, the price, the atmosphere...what's not to love about it. You cannot miss it!
