This is the place! For those of you from the L.A. area, it's got a menu like Canter's but it's a much nicer looking, and cozy restaurant without the crowds. I've been to Sherman's in Palm Springs which does a great job, but I wanted to try something different. I had a little trouble finding it, even with GPS, but... More

We go her every time we are in Palm Springs. It may even be one of the reasons we go to Palm Springs! My husband basically orders all of his Jewish favourites, Latkes, chopped liver, cabbage soup, corned beef sandwiches. I love the reuban sandwich and the incredible salads. This is a great place with fantastic food. They have a... More

The early bird special is amazing - for $11.99 you get a sizeable salad, fresh buns, tasty pickles and a delicious entree that could easily feed two people. Great casual atmosphere and friendly staff - "Fuzzy" was also our server and she was absolutely delightful - she made us feel right at home, and did a great job serving us.... More

We came early on a Friday and were able to get the $11.99 early bird specials. 2 of us had the meatloaf dinner, 1 had the corned beef and cabbage and 1 the veggie burger with fries. We were all happy with our meal. It is a "lot" of food. We easily could have split a meal. The restaurant was... More

Stopped by for dinner on a Monday evening and was impressed with the atmosphere, size of the menu, food and, of course, the dessert case. I was good and skipped order one of their sinful desserts but it was hard to resist. The host was friendly and was able to seat us immediately. The menu is crazy - sooooo very... More

Really, really enjoyed this New York style, huge menu, delicatessen style restaurant. Wonderful selection. In addition to dill pickles for the table, there was included pickled tomatoes and sauerkraut. Yummy! Great, generous pastrami and Manhattan clam chowder. Impressed by the bakery with oversized offerings. Surprised by how small the deli part was. Somewhat disappointing. Wonderful, friendly service. A real treat!

Went for lunch on a Wednesday. We were seated immediately and then saw a steady stream of customers come in. The wait staff was friendly. My matzoh ball soup was mediocre and not hot enough. Deserts to die for though and totally made up for the warm soup. Salted caramel pretzel brownie-yum! Chocolate chip rugula (sp) was so good I... More

The sandwiches were good. The side were surprisingly good as well. The portions were big. We ordered a cream of mushroom (big chunks of mushrooms, which was great) and 2 sandwiches for 2 adults and 2 kids. It was more than enough. We were all busting at the seams. We were actually going to come back for dinner that day... More

We went for breakfast. Prepared correctly and quickly. We also got desserts to go from the bakery several days. They also had a NY Jewish deli onsite and made their own bread.

Sunday breakfast gave us an opportunity to try the Manhattan. We were seated very quickly and the server was prompt and helpful. I ordered the mushroom bacon omelette which was excellent. My wife ordered the short stack of pancakes, which turned out to be mistake. They were tough and inedible. The sever was gracious and took them off the bill.... More
