Happy hour specials

great happy hour menu, cheap Martinis and appies. Cool courtyard lounge seating out back. A bit tired, but worth a visit to start off your night of touring around downtown Palm Springs!

We first ate here in December 2013 and were pleased with the food, all was very good and fresh, so we decided to eat here again as we were in Palm Springs for a week holiday. I must be honest. The bar drinks are good, and they even looked up a drink ( I had only one, my husband drove... More

Had never been here before. We parked our car in the lot and you could hear the loudness coming from the outdoor patio at the bar. Walked inside and the same noise. The hostess seated us in the farthest table in the back, but after the tables were full, you could not hear yourself think. Thank goodness the food was... More

Oh how I miss the Flower Drum. Wang's location used to house the Flower Drum many years ago that had outstanding Chinese food. I have been to Wang's on several occasions since it has been in operation and have always felt it was just adequate. Not really great or bad. Recent reviews indicate it is either under new ownership or... More

The soups and starters were ok but not the draw here. The spring rolls were not amazing but not bad either. The real jewel were the entries. The cashew chicken and sweet and sour shrimp were EXCELLENT! If you order either dish regularly you will be impressed with these. The quality of mushrooms in the chicken and plentiful portions of... Up until a couple of years ago we were regulars at Wang's. A couple of years rest and we looked forward to an old favourite. It no longer is. A 6PM reservation on a Sunday night. The restaurant was 1/3 full and not with the usual collection of interesting people. Gone was the sake trio. The menu was more limited... More

Wonderful dinner. Was there at 6 pm and service was just fine--didn't want to be rushed anyway. Had the coconut chicken soup and it was delightful; not overly spicy. The beef with snow peas and combo lo mein were terrific. Portions were large and the restaurant has a great feel. Don't pass this up.

This in a very attractive restaurant, with a stream and bridge inside. We were lucky eniugh to get a seat beside the water. Unfortunately, however, the combination of low ceilings and bare concrete floors makes for a very noisy room. Even though the restaurant wasn't overly busy, it was so noisy that it was difficult to talk to others seated... More

During Sunday dinner of President's Day weekend (which was also the beginning of Palm Springs Modernism Week, the Hot Air Balloon Festival, and many other events), we should have known better when the hostess wouldn't even take our name for a table since we didn't have a reservation. Instead, she told us to come back in 20 minutes, when there... More

We went during happy hour, not only for the drinks, but to try some different kinds of food in smaller portions. They had a good appetizer menu to go along with their beverages. Nice patio too.
