used to be the best, now a complete disappointment

Up until a couple of years ago we were regulars at Wang's. A couple of years rest and we looked forward to an old favourite. It no longer is. A 6PM reservation on a Sunday night. The restaurant was 1/3 full and not with the usual collection of interesting people. Gone was the sake trio. The menu... read more

Wonderful dinner. Was there at 6 pm and service was just fine--didn't want to be rushed anyway. Had the coconut chicken soup and it was delightful; not overly spicy. The beef with snow peas and combo lo mein were terrific. Portions were large and the restaurant has a great feel. Don't pass this up.

This in a very attractive restaurant, with a stream and bridge inside. We were lucky eniugh to get a seat beside the water. Unfortunately, however, the combination of low ceilings and bare concrete floors makes for a very noisy room. Even though the restaurant wasn't overly busy, it was so noisy that it was difficult to talk to others seated... More

During Sunday dinner of President's Day weekend (which was also the beginning of Palm Springs Modernism Week, the Hot Air Balloon Festival, and many other events), we should have known better when the hostess wouldn't even take our name for a table since we didn't have a reservation. Instead, she told us to come back in 20 minutes, when there... More

We went during happy hour, not only for the drinks, but to try some different kinds of food in smaller portions. They had a good appetizer menu to go along with their beverages. Nice patio too.

We went to dinner with friend on Friday night. It was busy but not terribly loud. The food was fairly good. We had the veggie wraps and dumplings for an app. We split some sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was fairly bland. I wish it had a little more flavor. The veggie wraps were my favorite.... More

Sad sad sorry state of affairs...the last time we ate here we thought it was terrible but friends pleaded with us ti try again as they supposedly have new owners. Well things are even worse under the new management. All the old time wait staff are gone and replaced by people who really do not what is going on in... More

Good food. The couple beside ordered four main courses and then got doggy bags! It's surprising what puts you off a meal. Also, it was too noisy for me
