Great variety, flavour and Value

Fun environment, somewhat retro and funky. Attentive staff and delicious food. A menu mix of Cantonese, Polynesian, and mid-century American.

My wife and I had a take-out dinner from Wangs last night, during our first trip to the area. So I can't comment on the drinks or the vibe, but from a food perspective, this place would not last ten minutes in the NYC metro area where we are from. I should have known when I saw that the menu... More

We came to Wang's twice since it was fun and friendly and close to our hotel. Sunday features a happy hour with some discounted drinks and half priced, downsized entrees and appetizers. This is a great way to be able to have more items without having too much food. We arrived very early on Sunday (3 or 4 pm?) and... More

I usually don't think of a Chinese restaurant as a place to grab a drink, but Wang's is fun. Grab a cocktail at the bar while you wait for your table, and the food is good. Great place to observe the vibe in Palm Springs...

My husband and I love Asian food and was pleased with our choice for the evening. The staff were very attentive and we loved the presentation of the meals along with great flavor.

Food was very good, especially enjoyed the Kung Pao Chicken. Restuarant is large and open and is good for groups. Service was excellent.

Some of the best Chinese food I've eaten in the United States! We had a great experience. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent. The bar tender made an excellent Chocolate Martini for us (it wasn't on the menu). We ordered the dumpling sampler and they were excellent - very well made and stuffed with chicken and shrimp.... This is good Chinese food -- not the best I've ever had, but also not the worst (I'm surprised at some of the other reviews). We started with the potstickers; they were good, but I missed the vinegary pot-sticker sauce I'm used to. The walnut shrimp was excellent (OK this one thing I a would put among the "best"). And... Loved the dim sum and soup with dumplings, so friendly and attentive, even got a doggy bag for the left overs.

Very compelling and eclectic ambience! In operation for over 15 years, and has a solid patron base. High-end oriental dining atmosphere. Service was adequate, but not above average. Happy hours are smart, and good deals for well drinks and wine. Pan fried chicken pot stickers were excellent. Classic Chinese spring rolls were scrumptious. Steamed pork dumplings--very tasty. They have a... More
