I recently tried filet mignon with salad and mashed potatoes at the Chop House while visiting the Coachella Valley to take care of winter shopping at Desert Hills Premium Outlets and Cabazon Outlets. On the one hand, like most good steakhouses, this place is expensive; on the other, it's still more affordable than the LG steakhouse across the street, and... More

I asked a local for a good place nearby for a steak, and he came up with this off the top of his head, before running away with his date. We were not disappointed. The ambiance and service were very good with an excellent wine list, and cellar to match. The steak was done as we wanted, and the waiters... More

Our waiter, Andrew, was very pleasant and helpful. He split a Prime Rib dinner for my husband and I without batting an eye or acting as if it were a big deal. The food was delicious!! We ordered wine from their 50% off wine list, which was nice to see. We ordered one type of wine only to have another... More

Had a dinner-for-two evening for my husband's birthday. In downtown old Palm Springs. Nice, open-air dining. Very good service. Steaks cooked just as ordered. Glad we went.

Once a year we visit Palm Springs and always go to the Chop House. Hands down the best steak I have ever had, can't wait to go back.

We came back this year for our anniversary dinner. We are here last year for our wedding dinner. Food is great as always, had the lobster tail and lobster mac and cheese. Opted for the French onion soup. Could not bring myself to order the lobster bisque for the Lobster "Trifecta"! Not inexpensive AND you get what you pay for.

On a monday night when we went for dinner. The surrounding restaurants were quite busy and the Chop House was nearly empty. I don't have clue why it was so quiet here, we had great steaks, from the steak neptune special to the 16 oz ribeye, thick rich onion soup, escargot all tastey and left no room for desert. Prompt... Have been here several times and have never been disappointed! They offer a nice selection of food and provide reasonable value for your money. My steaks are always cooked exactly as I request (a rarity unfortunately at other steakhouses) and are excellent quality.

recently dined here for dinner. Restaurant was not packed on a Sunday and service was prompt. Thought the menu had a wide range of choices to choose from and we enjoyed our dinner that night. Prices were reasonable I thought. Would dine there again.
