The service was good, the food not that great I had lobster tail and it was too tough, my husband had a steak and found a hair in it.The manager stated that it wasn't a hair since all of the cooks wear hair nets and that it looked like it might have fallen off my lobster to his plate..Next time... My wife and I dined here while on an overnight trip to the desert. The service was very good. The waiter was very engaging, genuine, and helpful. My wife got the scallops, which she said were delicious. I ordered the 18oz bone-in filet from the summer menu and was definitely underwhelmed. It's not that the food is bad, it's just... More

The first time we ate at the Chop House in season it was a wonderful experience - great food, great friendly service and a comfortable environment. We came back in 2014 Restaurant Week and it was a good experience but less than our first trip ordering from the menu. The beef was still top quality. We went again in summer... More

Our food was absolutely some of the best tastiest I have ever had! Lobster bisque was crazy good! Filet mignon Oscar makes my mouth still water. Chocolate mousse cake over the top! Our waiter Andrew was the best waiter ever. Extremely attentive and personable! Really enjoyed his personality!

On mother's day my wife and I, brother and sister in law and two friends went to the Chop House in downtown Palm Springs. My wife ordered from the special mother's day menu, the filet and lobster tail which was done perfectly. Among the remaining five people, three ordered steaks well done, one ordered a steak medium and I ordered... More

Came here for dinner on Mothers Dsy and had a wonderful evening! They offered a special menu that night so I ordered the filet and lobster...it was AWESOME! Cooked perfectly and sinfully delicious!!! The service is always top notch and they are kid-friendly as well which is a relief and a treat for an upscale steakhouse! We'll be back!!!

Stopped in here for a pre show dinner, where we started with the recomended Cactus juice cocktail. The Lobster main was well cooked with a reassuringly capacious tub of molten butter for dipping and the accompanying Filet Mignon cooked perfectlt medium rare. The beer desert course was a Belgian wheat ale, served at perfect temperature, and considerately previewed by our... More

I ordered my usual filet mignon with bernaise (cooked perfectly), my husband had the lobster, we shared an order of escargot. The appetizer and main courses were great, but the dinner salad was a little boring. Must have been an off night? Regardless, we always eat at the Chop House when in Palm Springs!

Yes, it is a little pricey, but well worth it for really good meat cooked properly. Both our steaks were excellent and a real medium rare. Our waiter was great! We were on the patio and the sidewalk entertainment on a warm PS night is amazing !! The cruising reminds me of Colorado Blvd in Pasadena or Valley Blvd in... More
