I don't understand why anyone would eat here. There is nothing special about either the food or the menu, the service again was unremarkable, the prices were not low enough to be a plus factor, and the ambience is for those who like slumming.

The families were fresh out of church and filing into Palm Springs IHOP. As I climbed the front stairs, I was just able to get a peek into the crowded IHOP vestibule, standing room only. Luckily, our eyes caught a weird pig painted as a mural and some people eating out front of a small establishment next door to Wang's.... More

Good basic breakfast house. Average for a quick affordable breakfast on the go. Located close to center of Palm Springs nothing exciting or exceptional. Nothing to go out of ones way for. Return? Maybe. Recommend? Maybe.

One of the best country home cooking type of breakfast places you can find in the desert. Near the downtown area and waling distance from many of the hotel/motels in the town center.

My first time here for breakfast and will be back. Nice selection. Basics. Friendly service. Very fast. Food was good. I had the house 3 egg omelette. I'd omit the "Spanish Sauce" not because it was bad but because I'd just prefer nothing or fresh salsa. But basic and good.

I have been here a couple of times now with in the past week. The corned beef and cabbage is good but the special they had yesterday of scrambled eggs and chorizo was EXCELLENT. The staff is very friendly and I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners.(This is family a small family owned restaurant). I will be going... More

I am a regular at the Bit of Country for their Corned Beef and Cabbage special which is served only on Fridays. Ample portions, so I never go away hungry. It is not a POSH restaurant, but I have never been disappointed with the service or the food.

Been coming here for years. This is a good, basic restrauant, not fine dining. You come here for a good basic breakfast or lunch. Prices very good. Service is great. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Some of their lunch specials would make great dinners. Plan ahead and buy a lunch for dinner. Staff is very friendly and... More

Last day in Palm Springs, had a business breakfast. One of the participants knew of this place and said it was the best in PS. Food was great. I had the Kielbasa platter, with biscuit and gravy, eggs over easy, hash browns, toast and tea. Filling, very much so. Ate outside, warm, sunny morning. Less than one block from the... More
