"Pretty and a little noisey..."

Great Food, pretty surroundings but kinda NOISEY after 6PM.... The drinks are large so some conversations and laughter get large as well. Food and service are good, may want to opt for quieter surroundings after 7 PM.

My first visit must have been when I was about 5. That was 51 years ago. the family, now in their 3rd generation if I remember correctly, is still running a wonderful restaurant with outstanding dishes and selection. The original is our favourite because it was the first and has that family environment to it. They will take good care... More

We went for margaritas, chips and salsa. The place was crowded, so we waited for a table while sipping margaritas. not so bad you say, you're right, margaritas were amazing! However, after a very long week our buzzer went off only to find that our table was inside when we wanted an outside table to hear the live band. When... More

Brought our family here, while the staff was nice, the food was just ok. Had the fish tacos, carne Asada burrito and nachos...my fish tacos were soggy, so, I had to eat around the tortilla-boo. The did have some pretty tasty salsas though.

My husband and I drove from Palm Desert to eat here and it was well worth the 25 minute drive. I ordered the taco and enchilada plate and my husband ordered the taco, enchilada, and chili relleno plate. Both were delicious. The strawberry margarita was also good and refreshing. The complementary chips and salsa was fresh and tasty. We will definitely... More

We decided to go to the original Casuelas and glad we did. The other Casuelas was crowded, same food and higher prices. The waitress was very attentive and the food was very good. We did not have to wait long for our food and it was well presented and delicious. We had the #1 & #2 combination plates, we recommend... More

If you love Mexican food Palm Springs area is heaven and Original Las Casuelas is another must visit restaurant. Menu is large with lots of variety, all of which is high quality and very tasty. We had the traditional tacos, which were hand made with fresh ingredients. The better half decided on of all things a hamburger, what? What a... More

We dine there a few times a month. Great atmosphere - lively vibe with live music in the evenings. The food is consistently top notch with only the freshest ingredients. Chimichangas are mt favorite and the tacos and burritos are terrific. Priced very well. Oh and don't miss the excellent margaritas.

We went here because Palm Springs legend has it that Elvis dined here in Booth #1 all the time when he lived in Palm Springs in the late 60's. The beef taco and enchilada plate is my favorite!
