Very Basic - Not what we expected

OK - so we didn't read all of the reviews on this place. We were told that this is a must visit location if looking for seafood in Palm Springs so we gave it a shot. Coming from Boston - we knew that it couldn't compare to our seafood back home.....but it was much worse than we thought. The... read more

If you are looking for fresh, good seafood in a comfortable informal setting this is the place. Went twice in 2 days and waited in line to order each time. This place is really like a combination fish market and grill. You get assigned a table, then you stand in line to order (give the cashier your table number) the... More

Great fish and seafood. The owner is very hands on and is often seen around the restaurant talking to his customers. If you are in the mood for some Blues, on Thursdays and Fridays, you can slip over to Shanghai Reds which is part of Fishermen's Market, to listen to the Barry Baughn Band. In addition, on Thursdays, you can... More

This place is charming and the food is very good. When we at there, there was a huge crush waiting for a table to be assigned, and then by the time we left, there was no one waiting. This is an early dining city! They are very efficient, the fish is fresh and they have a nice selection of wines.... More

We usually have the luncheon specials here, which are a great deal. This time we stopped for dinner, and the place was a lot more crowded and a bit more pricey than lunch. As always, the fish (your choice of grilled, fried or blackened) was outstanding. Your glass of wine is always a very generous pour. You order at the... More

An interesting concept. You are assigned a table number by the receptionist upon arrival then line up to place your order. After you pay you go to your table and the food arrives shortly after. My wife had the Grilled Scallops and I had the Swordfish. Both were done to perfection and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is casual and along... More

We went for lunch and had the fish and shrimp tacos . They were great and the price was very reasonable. Great place for fish and a reasonable great lunch . I liked the clam chowder soup. Highly recommend this place

As a "snow bird" we do a lot of cooking at home and we are always looking for the freshest and most organic food...a few years ago, when ordering the best fish tacos at the fishermans market And i realized that you could also by their fresh fish.. It's flown in almost daily and they have an amazing selection. hard... More

I ate here twice last summer, because it was across the street from my hotel. The fish part of the fish and chips was awful, overlooked and dried out. The chips were amazing. The next night I had a grilled salmon, which was very nice. I'm back at the same hotel across the street, and am writing this review because... More

The restaurant is fabulous. The fish is so fresh. We had swordfish and it was the best we've tasted. A large perfectly cooked piece of fish the best . Don't be put off by the queue to eat there. It's well worth the small wait. They even have a fish happy hour if you want to eat earlier.
