My friend suggested El Mirasol after shopping, since I had never been there, I was anxious to try it. The weather was perfect for outside seating. I had the enchilada and taco combo plate. I was very disappointed in my taco. It had some tomato mashed on top and not very good. The enchilada with green sauce was good. I... More

We went on a Sunday morning and soon after we were seated the outside terrace filled up. Greeted promptly. The menu explained chips and salsa served immediately and kept full. Warm freshly toasted and delicious. Salsa guacamole very good. Food quality best in any Mexican in the desert. Full margarita bar. Return? Yes Recommend? Yes

Growing up in S CA, you are weaned on Mexican food, so you can quickly tell the quality of the food by the salsa. That held true today. This is our first time here and it won't be the last. Excellent food and drinks, especially the carnitas taco. Go for it, you'll be glad you did.

We've been going to El Mirasol for over 15 years. The original on S Palm Canyon is very popular as the food is still great after all these years. I hate to mention this as it was a bit undiscovered but the newer location on Indian Canyon is just as wonderful. The patio has now been discovered, a tranquil garden... More

Nice small resturant, we sat on patio which was great for people watching. Food was good and large portions with lots of choices.

The food was terrible....mediocre mexican food at best. At 40 years old, we were the youngest clients in the entire place. Watery margaritas, too.

Mirasol is an institution in Palm Springs; always full of locals and tourists alike. The decor is definitely rustic southwest, with a great, warm atmosphere and just the right amount of noise. I've eaten here a dozen times and taken food away as many times. My two go-two dishes are the carnitas and chile colorado. If you like carnitas, these... More

We visited this restaurant on a recommendation from our hotel. It was quite busy when we arrived on hot Friday evening. The outside patio was almost full with 2 tables still open. We were immediately seated outside. The server was friendly and attentive. We had the skinny margarita and a premium margarita on the rocks. Both were good. The server... More

Freezer burned beef in Taco. Margarita made me sick. Spent 60$ for two. Should have Been 35$ top. Never again. Atmosphere is cheap and air conditioning not working?? It's 105 degrees outside. 2 fans on. Why? Why? Why?
