Both El Mirasol locations feature a singular focus on wholesome, fresh food with house specialties like Chicharron en Salsa, our rich aromatic Mole Sauce and hand made Corn Tortillas made fresh daily. The food was very uninteresting. Service was fine, but the food just didn't live up to our expectations.

Mexican food is an art, like many culinary creations. El Mirasol misses the mark on multiple levels including food, presentation and service. We love Rio Azul, and tlaquepaque, we were looking forward to finding another Mexican haunt but were so disappointed. Starting with the guacamole, it was watered down with citrus over tones. I had the beef chile rojo, the... More

I confess, I am a regular and have been since this place opened, before the palapa bar and before expanding next door and outside patio....this is a great place to go and enjoy real Mexican food and outstanding "Cadillac" margaritas...nice staff, remember you and greet you...attentive service and great food...crab enchiladas! carnitas! damn good food!! But you gotta fight for... More

Margaritas are really good and affordable. We also got the queso for two people and, while delicious, it was too much. It'd be great for 4 or more though. Service was quick and friendly and you can tell it was a popular spot!

The margaritas, the service, the food - even the chicken soup was fabulous. Lots of great places to sit and misters outside.

I arrived early and the restaurant was already packed. I ordered the Chicken Mole. It amazes how many restaurants list this in their menu but do not know how to prepare it. The mole "melted" in my mouth. The waitress recommended thyme flan for dessert...and I am gold she did. I was the appropriate complement to my meal. I was... More

Dear Owner Thank you for providing great service and cozy & breezy patio setting in humid July 4th. However I have a very simple basic question: Have you ever tried your own foods listed on your own menu ? I must ask because your venue is supposed to be the one of the fine Mexican restaurants in Palm Springs. As... More

Appreciate the detailed feedback about the dishes you ordered and the good descriptions about where we went wrong ... as well as the positive feedback about the setting and the service. We like the North location as it is less crowded on Friday nights, and has a wonderful patio to dine in. The food here taste very fresh and is very lightly seasoned, so you if you want spicy ask for their special hot sauce ,it is really good! The Margartitas here are the best. Great tacos and you can order... More

Repeat diner for this restaurant. When I visit Palm Springs, I can count on great service and excellent menu choices at El Mirasol. Atmosphere and ambiance is somewhat authentic and as mentioned by previous reviewers, even in the summer heat, the outdoor patio with effective misters is quite comfortable. The southern location has less pedestrian traffic and therefore, perhaps less... More
