Nice and clean restaurant. Ordered the pastrami and corned beef on rye and it was a pretty big sandwich. If I had it to do over again I would stick with just pastrami as it was much more flavorful. The bakery case is beautiful to look at, has a wide variety and the coconut cake was great. The sandwich came... More

Come hungry, plan on splitting a meal or taking home leftovers. Because, you will want to save room for dessert.

Good diner food with great proportions. Fun dessert case :) Good size restaurant so they wait isn't bad. Have eaten at several times!

Sherman's is a perfect example of this disappearing restaurant genre. Diners are greeted with kosher-style pickles and sauerkraut on the table. The Pastrami is delicious as is the tuna salad. A great sandwich is the French Dip, which is hot Brisket with optional Swiss Cheese on a French Roll with a side of Au Jus. Cottage Fries accompany this sandwich.... More

The pastrami at Langers in LA is 10 better! This was very fatty and a little bland. I couldn't finish my sandwich so I doggie bagged it. Ate it later and to my surprise it was I considered to be an unsatisfactory leftover! The coleslaw, sauerkraut and pickles were yummy!

Their corned beef sandwich on rye is excellent and very large; it could easily be shared by two. And their desserts are very tempting.

Since the food and service are so wonderful, there is sometimes a wait but, it is well worth it! Go hungry! The plates are large!

I ♥♥♥♥♥ this restaurant and have for years, and now thatc I live here I can go more often. Best B/L/T/A in the city andvthe coconut cake is addictive. Service is quick, friendly and professional. Ambience is - well,It's a deli after all. My only gripe is that in "season" it is so popular there is often a wait.

I have tried Sherman's two times now since I have been vacationing in Palm Springs over the last few years. My first experience with the beef brisket was awful a couple years ago. The sandwich contained as much fat as lean beef. The manager apologized back then and said it should have never been served like that. I thought I... More
