A Palm Spring Classic

The food was authentic and delicious. Wait staff was attentive and fun. We particularly enjoyed eating outside and people watching. Portion size was enormous and we left happy!

Always go for a meal love the food and the staff are so friendly. The portions are big and the cakes are delicious. They even have early specials . It's always busy but the service never changes always good.

We had breakfast our first morning in Palm Springs and this place was chosen simply because it was close to the hotel. We got lucky on this one - everything was great and the waitress was wonderful with our daughter. She walked our daughters to the front pastry case to pick exactly which cookie was the "right" one to-go. Very... More

A nice change from "big city" delis. A very relaxed atmosphere - and the sandwiches are truly good (rare roast beef and swiss on this visit). The servers are attentive, quick and fun. Top marks for cleanliness - but you better not look too long at the pie case on the way out -- the pies look legendary!

Every time I come to Palm Desert (about 5 times a year) this is a must stop spot. Never had a bad meal, a classic New York style deli with traditional favorites and just plain good food. My only complaint is you have to look at the incredible bakery products while you wait and i must say I always get... More

Usually stop at Sherman's Deli on our arrival in Palm Springs. Half a pastrami sandwich and a piece of pie or cake are usually the choices. Piled high pastrami along with great rye bread and a dill pickle spear are perfect for lunch. Service is great, too. Enjoy,

This is not an authentic deli like you would find in New York or even LA. Food is very bland and not very ethnic.

Enjoyed a brunch on the outdoor patio. Very busy place, but the food and service is great. It appears that this is the place to eat, as a variety of folks were there, locals, tourists, families, elderly, young families with dogs. FUN! A must try if in Palm Springs. Too many choices on the menu, but that's a good thing!

The food was huge! Giant portions! Sadly it was just very average diner food. I was shocked how the waitress handled the food while doing every else. It wasn't my food though, but if I lived there I would not go back on that alone. On to the dessert! They looked beautiful I mean gorgeous! The taste though sadly disappointing!... More
