Wonderful restaurant from bygone days!

Billy Reed's has been around since the mid 70's and the decor and ambiance shows this as a classic restaurant of that era, and it's a wonderful experience. Classic woodwork throughout with beautiful decor. Now about the food, breakfast-lunch-dinner can't miss on any level. True american cuisine at... read more

It's like stepping into an episode of Columbo when you walk in, which is a great thing, particularly if you like restaurants from that era (I do). There's a homey feel to the place, and everyone is eager to please and very nice. I'm thrilled the place still exists, and thrives. However, I wish I had known that when you... More

This place is an old time family cooking type place with a huge menu. I had the calamari which was huge, the prime rib was wonderful as well as the fresh bread and salad. It was a really nice meal and filling!

We have been regular customers for 32 years and would drive from San Diego just to have dinner at Billy Reed's. Moved here a year ago so we could go once or twice a week! The food, service, decor and every aspect is just tremendous! We have never been disappointed-always leave wanting to return as soon as possible! Billy, Robbie,... More

I know that Palm Springs is a retirement community with people with lots of money; but to go to a great restaurant and order Fish and chips and a glass of ice tea and yiur bill is $17.94 with tax. I went with a group and at approximately $20 per person how does this restaurant and other expect to stay... More

For 25 years I have been coming to Palm Springs and my first stop is a meal at Billy Reeds. It is not your normal run of the mill US diner, it has a quant old fashioned charm about it, but don't be fooled it has very exactly standards when it comes down to a high standard of service, value... We liked this place so much we wound up eating here twice. The decor is old-fashioned and fun. The staff were extremely friendly and quick, and the food was good. Had some great pie at dinner and the cinnamon roll and breakfast must've been bigger than my head.

This is your grandmother's dining room and what's more, the cooking is better! Yes, better than Grandma's. The 5 layer cakes are beyond belief, and so is the Cobbler. All meals are a great value....when we eat at home we go to Billy Reed's for desert...it's that special...Locals and travelers know this so go early!

Fine dining. Great service and very delicious food. The portions were plentiful, and we made it a point to leave room for dessert, which was to die for!
