We were residents of Palm Springs for 40 years. We were one of the first customers when billy and Robbie opened this incredible restaurant in 76. We ate there 2-4 times a week. They sold it left it for 25 years. What a mess. We stopped eating there for at least15 years. On our recent visit back to Palm Springs,... More

I first moved to the Palm Springs area in the early 80's -- and Billy Reeds was the busiest place in town. A two-hour wait for a table -- and a good thing they expanded the restaurant. The two owners sold the restaurant and the place slowly went on the downhill slide. 20 years or so the original owners are... More

Upon entering the front entrance, there is a huge koi pond full of fish a very comfortable and quaint atmosphere. We waited 30 seconds to be seated on this busy Sunday labor day weekend. We had drinks set on the table within 30 seconds, ordered

What a terrific lunch we had at Billy Reed's! Actually, we had started out for a French experience at a local restaurant, but it was closed...guess for the summer...so we decided on Billy Reed's in lieu of, and so glad we did. I hadn't been there for quite some time (other end of valley from where I now live). Many... More

We visited Palm Springs to see friends there. Went to dinner at Billy Reed's Restaurant. It's a beautiful, friendly, relaxing type of restaurant. The menu is huge. I had French Dip Beef Sandwich which was very tender and tastety. My husband had a BLT which he just loved. My friend had crab cakes. I tasted them and they were delicious.... More

We pass this restaurant every time we head to Palm Springs and finally decided to check it out. For starters we had no idea it was as big as it was. The menu was equally as big and very reasonably priced. If you are looking for American fare, not fusion or gourmet then this is a good stop. They offer... More

Been here a dozen times and haven't been let down by service or food. Atmosphere like old west saloon (but with modern touches like booths and carpeting), red glass lamps and big mirror over bar. Food not trendy. Iceberg lettuce, fish and chips, pot roast (tender and delicious). Nice curry chicken salad stuffed avacado. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.... More

Recently when we are in Palm Springs we decide to try out the prime rib at Billy Reeds restaurant on the Boulevard. As many times as we have been in Palm Springs we always pass by the sign for Billy Reeds but until now have never had occasion to go in so we were very pleasantly surprised when we went... More

Billy Reed's has an extensive menu, but there's nothing really outstanding (sorry). The reason to come here are Billy Reed's (chef-owner) deserts. They are old fashioned style and generous portions. Especially try the peach pie if in season. Kids seem to love the place all around. The restaurant is large and cool in summertime. Servers & staff are welcoming and... More
