Food is great, try the French onion soup (served with scissors for the gooey cheese!!). And get the namesake pomme frites, they are the best. Small, family owned and run.

We made reservations for 6:00 on a Wednesday night, with a request for an outdoor table ... arrived to an almost empty restaurant, with only 2 outdoor tables occupied. The hostess, situated in the back corner, ignored us for several minutes, and finally acknowledged that we were there waiting. She showed us to an inside table in the very dim... More

Hi, I am sorry that you didn't stay for dinner with us at Pomme Frite. However, we do appreciate very much your feedback. Sometimes tables are reserved outside for customers who made reservation for later, the waitress should have mention that to you. If you wouldn't mind giving us a second chance, I look forward to your next visit. J.C.Constant,... More

Had the chance to visit the Pomme Frite after spending some time on a cold day at the Casino. We were in time for the early bird menu which had good selections. Atmosphere was cosy, food was great, service was good

Thursday was market night, our reservation got us a nice table for two on the front patio. The house white Sauvie was from Sancerre, for $22. There must have been close to 2 dozen mussels, nice, small, and fresh. Great frites, great service. We loved it. Even though the Manager is a Grouch!

One of our most favorite places for dinner in Palm Springs. The food, service and locations are all 5 star. Dinner specials almost every night. A Prix-Fixe menu at $20 before 6pm is always a nice treasure. Last night we started with Gazpacho, then "Fish and Frites" and Creme Broule. They pan sauté their fish that is mouth watering just... We visit Palm Springs area annually and always make it a point to attend the Thursday night street fair. As part of our evening we usually dine at Pomme Frite as we love the Belgian/French cuisine. It is located just in front of the multi story public parking garage which is convenient given much of the area is blocked off... More

Enjoyed my Mussels just like in Europe and a unique way to serve French Onion Soup with thick cheese (scissors included)

We enjoyed a Sunday dinner at this delightful restaurant in downtown Palm Springs. The wait staff was attentive and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the sea bass and my husband had the mussels. Very good and we will return.

We looked at the menu on line and it looked really great. The place has the making of a great place but it falls short of making it special. It seems like they wanted to be substandard or maybe cutting corners. For example, all the restaurant had their water mists on (it was a warm night) they did not. I... More
