Friendly place. Really well prepared food. Casual French bistro atmosphere. Huge selection of wines and Belgian beers. Hanger steak was cooked rare exactly as I had ordered it and was butter tender on a bed of assorted baby vegetables. Belgian fries were served in a cone with three dipping sauces. Menu choices are varied and appealing. Pricing is appropriate for... More

We have a favourite restaurant at home for whenever we feel like a mussel feast. Pomme Frite will now be our second favourite for they are so good. Four of us had a great time here, enjoying both the mussels and some of the excellent Belgian beers that are available. All good and reasonably priced. The choices of mussel sauces... More

Pleasant downtown restaurant with bistro menu, good foreign beer selection. A fine meal was somewhat spoiled when they served coffee with nondairy creamer instead of milk or cream.

We lucked out by having an interesting and quirky family in the table next to ours. It made the evening memorable. The food here was excellent. The service was slow and lacking attention and charm but everything eventually got done.

The chocolate mousse was great! And the service was superb! Downtown restaurant. We got a seat by the window and it was fun people watching.

My husband and I dined here last night for my birthday. I wanted something low-key but delicious and Pomme Frite did not disappoint! We had no reservation and they were busy but we got seated right away. Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent. We started with a small salad and some escargots that were fantastic! They were perfectly... More

We had Christmas Eve dinner here and were very pleased. The outside patio with its heat lamps was perfectly comfortable tho the temp was probably 60 or so degrees. The service was perfect. We each had the filet medalions with a brandy/peppercorn sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection and the frites were like candy. We will eat here again... More

My wife (who is French) and I had lunch here a couple of days ago and came away with mixed feelings. It is a nice looking restaurant in the heart of Palm Springs. Problems started right away when the waiter welcomed us and told us to sit anywhere. The owner/manager immediately jumped up and barked at the waiter and told... More

Stopped in here last night for a couple of drinks and an appie. We were greeted immediatle with a Bon Soir and given an option for a table and sat at the bar as we wer not going to stay long (we should have). Lots of import european beer options and multiple wine options. We had the Salmon tartar on... More

This restaurant is on the main drag in Palm Springs. We had dinner on a Thursday evening when the city hold its big Market. The food was very good and quite reasonable for what we ordered. The service was pleasant. I ordered that onion soup. It had so much cheese that it actually came with a small pair of scissors... More
