OK Food, Reasonable Prices, Good Service

We used to go to their old location a few blocks away but both food and service went down hill. Our first time at new location at 362 S Palm Canyon Dr (TripAdvisor listing still shows old address) Pleasant surprised by larger, cleaner and brighter new premises. Service was quick and friendly and... read more

Very good food at a reasonable price. Not a pretentious place. We went after hiking the Museum Trail. I had the Ranchero Burrito with Carnitas, Very tasty. I took half home for lunch.

This is your basic Mexican restaurant where the locals eat. The portions are large and perfect for sharing. The have a good choice of Mexican beers and a limited wine list. Their margaritas are good, but not exceptional. We have enjoyed both the chicken and shrimp fajitas, the enchiladas, and the combination plates on our visits this year. The regular... More

We had chile releno, vegetarian burrito, and chicken fajita. All were ok but nothing special. Sauces were mild but salsas had some nice kick. Service good.

we have found the service to always be good, prompt and friendly. The portions are very large. Both take away is easy to order and in house eating is fine. The new location is more central and within easy walking of the "downtown" area but I agree you go there for the good food not for the atmosphere. A lot... More

The food was okay, bland, but edible and that is why it got two stars instead of one. The service was not even worth one star, however. We ate lunch at 1:30 on a Monday and it wasn't crowded but for some reason after our food was delivered and the waitress never came back. No refills, no asking how the... More

We had dinner with a friend, and the server was kind and exceptionally fast. Our meal was hot and flavorful and the portion size was enormous. How can anybody complain on these prices, go down the street and you would be shocked to see other places financially raping you for a meal. When we are in Palm Springs this place... More

In Palm Springs for the day. Went to lunch with family. They recommended Tlaquepaque for lunch. The out of five orders only one was correct. The food was mediocre and the service was slow. I would not recommend this place.

First rate home cooked Mexican specialties. Simple, casual dining room popular with locals--lots of regulars due to the really good food. Prices are excellent in a town where dining out is expensive--superior value. Friendly service. Great choice for lunch or a casual dinner. Across the street from the main bus stop on Baristo.

Our friends highly recommended this restaurant as being the best Mexican restaurant In Palm Springs. We spend an average of four weeks in Cabo San Lucas each year and were disappointed in their menu selections. The Cadillac margarita was tiny and mostly margarita mix. My husband had a shrimp dish which he felt was average, nothing special. I had the... More
