This was our first trip to the new restaurant. We enjoyed the service and the food. We received a huge amount of food, more than any person would normally eat at one sitting. The service was great and we were checked on regularly. It can be a bit noisy. We were there for a Sunday lunch and there were a... More

I'd describe it as taco truck style street tacos and I love it. The tacos are about $3 each and I love the pastor, carnitas or pescado the best. The burritos al gusto are about $6. And best of all, when you get a beverage it is in a big cup which is perfect to battle the blazing desert heat.... More

I believe this is a new location for Taqueria Tlaquepaque. I personally like the one in Sunny Dunes Rd. better. Although this new location is a step up from the old location as far as appearance, the food was disappointment for me. The food I thought were overpriced for what you get i.e. quality (Mexican food is generally cheap to... More

We enjoyed both a lunch and a dinner at Tlaquepaque on our last trip to the desert. The service was efficient and friendly, the food was delicious and the prices were super-reasonable. If I lived closer, this would be a weekly habit for me!

We had a fantastic meal back in March at the other location on Sunny Dunes. This time I was not impressed. The waitress was neutral and seemed to be in a hurry for us to order. The food was slow and cold. I had a beer the wife a margarita. She never came back the entire meal. We then had... More

This was our go to local Mexican restaurant over the last 4 years and it's great to see that they have now moved onto a bigger venue but kept the same feel and taste that I have grown to love. The service is quick and friendly, the drinks large and generous and the food is as good as ever. I... More

Stopped here today for lunch. Doesnt look like much from the outside and walking in you first wonder "why did we stop here". Sit anywhere you want they say. Well I say the food was a complete surprise as to just how good it was. Ordered the taco plate which is 3 tacos, beans and rice and it was fantastic.... More

They have moved into a new location but didn't lose any of their expertise in preparing great Mexican food in the transition. While the décor is not going to give Martha Stewart any thrills, the food certainly should. Glad I found their new location and certainly will go again.

Had a Sunday family dinner at Taqueria Tlaquepaque at their new location on South Palm Canyon in Palm Springs. The interior is clean with nice bright colors but nothing special in the way of decoration. The service was above average and the prices were ridiculously low. Menu items included Goat, Brains and Tongue so you know this is the real... More

Heard about the move to different location and decided to try it. It was bigger & brighter and the same friendly staff. Food portions were generous and well presented.
