Peabody's Café opened in 1992 as a coffee house. Over the years we became a full restaurant and bar serving simple American food with a Southern California twist. Most everything is made fresh to order. We serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily. You can also join us on Friday and Saturday nights when we stay open later for Karaoke. Try our Bloody Mary with nine ingredients! And sample our two homemade salsa and three homemade hot sauces complementary with your order. So sit back and relax, and enjoy our food and the people watching!

Popular place

This is a popular place. The inside is more like a sports bar atmosphere with an outdoor patio in the front that is usually busy. The portions they serve are good. They claim to have the "Best" Bloody Mary's and I have to agree that they are pretty good.

We ate at Peabody's twice for breakfast in January 2016, once for take out and once at their outdoor seating. The restaurant is conveniently located near the corner of S Palm Canyon Dr and W Arenas. They have about 10 outdoor tables, at which dogs are welcome. Their cappucino is excellent, foamy, served in a regular sized coffee cup. Two... More

We are here for a late breakfast/early lunch. I informed the waitress of my allergies and asked my usual questions. After everyone decided on food we ordered. I asked for no dairy (butter on the bun or cheese on the hamburger) and it arrived with butter on the bun. My bacon and avocado were missing, but showed up quickly when... More

Went to this place to try their famous bloody mary and it wasn't that good... was kinda watered-down. Server wasn't even exactly friendly (Casey, according to receipt). Asked if chili was homemade (no) so asked that I needed few minutes to check what else they have to offer. Decided on huevos ranchero, nothing to write home about. Quite bland even... More

We had brunch at Peabody's while visiting family in Palm Springs. Their Bloody Mary's are legendary, so of course, we started off with one. It's a homemade mix. A little spicy, not overwhelmingly tomato flavored. I also tried a grapefruit mimosa which was perfect. A little tart, a little sweet. I had the L.A.Mike. Grilled chicken breast, roasted tomatoes, avocado,... More

We were there a couple of times, both for breakfast. The food was hot and flavourful, and presented like most breakfasts.

This was recommended by the concierge at the hotel and it didn't disappoint. The Denver Omelet was very tasty and full of goodies. The toast was disappointing though as it didn't come buttered. If you are looking for a decent place for breakfast and want to be downtown and on your way to shopping and some sightseeing this is a... More

It's hot in Palm Springs in August. On our first trip downtown we were drawn to Peabody's by the water mist cooling the street, as we studied the menu the door opened and a server said 'it's cooler inside', we were hooked! Coffee bar doesn't do this establishment a service - it's a great breakfast bar. Bagged up with atmosphere,... More
