This place has a fun bar with live music on the weekends. The tacos were some of the best I have had. The margaritas are great. Prices are reasonable.

Was here during the World Cup final and could hear the music as well as the packed restaurant and decided to give it a try. After working our way around the cramped dining room into the outdoor patio area we were quickly presented with our drinks and Margarita which i can't complain about at all.. Our nachos picante arrived shortly... More

We'd walked by this place one evening and saw how busy it was...live music, mostly outdoor seating, neat decor...thought we'd give it a try sometime. We went for dinner today, early-ish (just after 5 to avoid the rush). We were seated quickly, the service was prompt and friendly, but the food? Meh. Nothing special, didn't seem really fresh, beans seemed... More

This is a very popular restaurant and always seems to be crowded. It's also very big and has LOTS of staff. The trouble is they're all running around getting loads of drinks for everyone. Our meals tasted OK but was lacking some flavour, plus not sauces were offered and we had to ask for silverware. It took 5 min to... More

Love this place, especially when tourist traffic slows and the locals return. This is 2nd generation owner/operator [mom & pop's original restaurant is a few blocks north on Palm Canyon - real good!]; this is authentic Mexican atmosphere [also stage & band], plus Palapa style bar and ample restaurant...become a "local" and good service levels elevate...family style dinning younger bar... We were looking for a nice light fresh Mexican meal. Craving fresh tacos, cilantro, salsa etc - couldn't have been farther from what we were craving. There wasn't a fresh vegetable in sight. The food was Commercial, heavy layers of cheese with no fresh herbs or taste. Didn't eat half of either of our meals - great if you don't... More

Enjoyed spending the afternoon listening to band P.S. Sound while out on the patio. Margarita's and food are good

Don't waste time here -- food is commercial, not fresh, overpriced -- as are the drinks. Since too many people with no taste in Mexican food eat here, the service is terrible. Tortilla on my little fish taco was hard and old and not fresh and homemade. Salsa is tomato soup :((( For real Mexican food, head down to Casa... More

This place has good Mexican cuisine but be prepared to wait for dinner seating most all of the time! While you wait, go for the best deal in the bar -- margaritas and the guacamole appetizer. After visiting many times, we have found that sometimes we are very pleased with the service but sometimes it can be a letdown --... More
