Dinner

Good food and good service but REALLY over priced. Had salad for 2, 2 entrees, and 2 glasses of wine...over $150 with tip. Food was good but not excellent. Won't be going there again

Thank you for your review, happy to hear you had good food and service. I still do not understand the" overpriced" complaint. I am certain that you checked our website out and saw the prices and to tell you the truth 150.00 dollars is what you would have paid in any other restaurant in the Valley. Paul Bruggemans More

This resteraunt was across the street from our hotel, so we decided to check it out. For appetizers we got the escargot and the crispy scallops. Both of us got the lobster as the main entree. The food was quite good, and the de-shelled lobster deserves an A. The setting and service were both good. I gave it a 4... More

Beautiful old Palm Springs place, with excellent dining and service. Patio is very charming. The unique old world charm without being stuffy makes for a special night out. Our first time and a now must any future visits to Palm Springs.

A little off the main drag and a beautiful mature courtyard with pretty lights our evening here was a little surreal. The age group here is older and feels like the more established residents of the area dine here. We were greeted by a live band none of whom were under 70 and I am sure there was a woman... More

This is a treasure in Palm Springs. One must dine outside under the huge tree and think back about what Palm Springs must have been like 50 years ago. It's pricey, but one needs to splurge every now and then. Sunday is champagne brunch is also the place to be!! Visitors to Palm Springs should always experience Le Vallauris at... More

My wife and I flew into Palm Springs just before noon. Rather than waiting over an hour for our rental car, we took a cab to Le Vallauris and had an incredible meal on the patio. It was mid-November and still warm, and the patio is covered with vines and beautiful flowers. Our waiter was first class and very attentive.... More

I hosted a dinner in a private dining room for 17 people. Everyone loved this place. The service, from the person with whom I planned the dinner in advance, to the host, and especially the wait staff, could not have been better. They were friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The room is beautiful. The menu choices were varied and fit every... More

Walk back in time. See the ghosts of old Palm Springs. Dressed in gowns with diamonds and lace. Carol Channing having lunch, Catherine Deneuve at dinner. Don Rickles and so on and so on... The food is OLD style french and the service tuxedos and bow ties. The music Cole Porter and the feeling from a lost time.

Ambiance, professionalism, elegant atmosphere, and wonderful food. We ate there for lunch and dinner another night last week. I wish I was there now. No arrogance or pretension, just excellent food and service and old world beauty. I am going to ask them for the recipe for vichyssoise. I had it both times. simple, and divine as the more complex...
