Had Easter brunch at le V earlier today. Visiting from Orange County for what we hoped would be a nice 20yr wedding anniversary stay in Palm Springs. In spite of the nice Easter decorations, the waiter was inflexible to offer even the smallest adjustments on the menu (that any other restaurant of this sort offers). For example, I asked if... More

We had dinner here in late March for our anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were given special treatment from the beginning to the end. The service was so friendly and our meal was a real taste treat. We sat outside on the patio and the ambience was delightful. This was our first visit to Le Vallauris but won't... More

We enjoyed another lovely evening at this restaurant. This time, we were a group of 8 who all enjoyed the evening. The ambiance was as usual perfect. Service-from our welcome to the waiters and bus staff- was pleasant, professional, and helpful. As always, the menu offered choices to please everyone. We were among the first to arrive for the evening... More

This is a wonderful restaurant. It's a little bit pricey but it can be worth for a special occasion. The waiter was a little stuffy and so are the people dining. Not overall the food was great but again for special occasions. I'm in my 30s and I was probably the youngest person in the restaurant.

Meal started off well with attentive service which tailed off very quickly by dessert. Suspect our server went home as we didn't see her after that, and remaining staff were mooning over some late arrivals from Coachella (!?), effectively ignoring everyone else. We eventually gained their attention for coffee and liqueurs but their disinterest was palpable. I would have understood... More

Thank you for your review, I will make certain that it will not happen in the future. When opening personnel hand over their remaining tables, the waiter taking over should have been more vigilant. One star for bad service at dessert and coffee time, no mention of the food, the patio and the ambiance is somewhat undeserved. Paul Bruggemans, Owner More

i wanted to try this downtown french restaurant & we were very happy... we sat on the patio under beautiful trees the owner told us he planted himself years ago... our waiter put on the heater as it got a bit chilly during the evening... we hung out drinking our wine, having a leisurely dinner... food was excellent, we had... The garden setting was terrible. Uneven footing. Just tacky. Way past its prime. Food was good but forget any ambiance.

Why dont you stay in Eureka ? The uneven floor is due to the roots of our beautiful ficus trees, which you most probably did not notice. Sorry to have to tell you that Le Vallauris is still booming and will remain so for the guests who have good taste. Paul Bruggemans, Proprietor More

On our last evening in Palm Springs, we dined at this charming old Palm Springs restaurant in the garden patio. Seated amongst the large trees and twinkling lights gave the place an “old-world” dining allure. Our selection was the special "Prix Fixe" on the menu, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Light soft live music added to the experience. Mind you the... More

We were intrigued enough by this restaurant on a recent trip to Palm Springs during a rainy weekend to make last-minute reservations for an early 6:00pm table for 2 over OpenTable. Upon entering a relatively empty restaurant, the host greeted us politely and took us to a wonderful corner table in the main dining room, a medium-sized space edged by... More

Thank you James from Frankfurt for your lenghty review. As it only rain once or twice a season, an umbrella holder would be a bad investment, not in Frankfurt. I am certain that my personnel did not refuse to hang your overcoats, somehow Californians like to keep their vestiaire near them. We will be certain to take care of your... More

Best place in all the desert to find the real OLD Palm Springs experience. This is what the town was all about! The owner Paul has maintained the amazing service and food that it has become famous for. Pascal, the maitre'd has an UN-nerving memory for guests, even if they have not been there in years! Thank you Peter for your review of April 1st, happy to hear that you had a good time.
