We were visiting Palm Springs for my birthday and had heard wonderful things about Le Vallauris -- it did not disappoint. We booked a reservation, fairly last minute, the day before. We were seated at a lovely table on the patio in the back corner which allowed us to view the entire scene. The service was immediate and impeccable, as... More

Had a lovely lunch on the patio. Started with the beet gazpacho, that was devine with perfect conistency. Followed by the gravlax. It was good, but not great. Ordered a glass of chardonnay (they have few for lunch not on the menu for $9.00). Great service. Enjoyed the patio

Le Vallauris is an older restaurant in a converted house. We ate outside among the trees. The food was very good and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. My wife had the whitefish, their specialty, and it was some of the best fish I ever tasted. You must get the pear salad.

At Le Vallauris, the majority of tables are outside on the patio, under a canopy of six towering weeping fig (ficus) trees, dramatically lit by spots and twinkling lights for a Mediterranean garden effect. The Prix Fixe menu is overwhelming, with four to five courses being too much for my husband and me to digest —literally and figuratively. So we... More

Whoa! You would never expect such a restaurant in Palm Springs: The staff, in tuxedo, knowing their business, caring for their customers, being highly knowledgeable and making you feel like a king! On top of that, the chef is creative, his team knows how to cook and the quality of food is irreproachable! The cherry on the cake? The owner... More

We went to a wedding and dinner at LeVallauris and, if possible, it was better than our previous visit. The wedding was in the gazebo, then champagne and appetizers in the bar - crisp mini philo dough cones filled with ahi, Roquefort balls served llke "pops," and so many others I lost count. Dinner! My dinner was the best lamb... More

I hadn't eaten here in about 20 years, and it was still wonderful. The food and service made the dining experience delightful.

Our experience: four of us ordered the prix fixe with 3 courses and wine, $96pp Ambience: as others have said, it has a delightful patio. I loved the mirror which was so spotless that it looked like a window into a parallel dimension. Service: reasonably attentive staff with the right frequency of follow-up and informality. Food: good, but not great.... More

Had dinner last night and was very disappointed with the whole experience. Ate there several years ago and it was excellent. Was hoping for a similar experience for my wife's birthday but it did not happen. The dinner started with a small plate of three items, a wild mushroom soup (very good), a very small cheese wrapped in bacon (good)... More
