Still a Favorite Spot

We have been making more or less an annual pilgrimage to The Blue Coyote for the past ten years on our golf vacations. We are out in either Indio or Palm Desert but we invariably make the trek in on the week-end. The menu really hasn't changed much & neither thank goodness has the atmosphere. There... read more

We stopped in with friends for Lunch and ate on the patio, as the misters kept us nice and cool. The Margaritas were awesome! Everyone loved their choices for Lunch and the service was bar none! There is on street parking for your convenience. If back in the area, we would definitely stop in again.

We sat in back patio area for dinner. It was cozy and comfortable. We shared a pitcher of margaritas that was pretty tasty and definitely had some tequila in it. The dish I ordered was Pollo Cilantro. It was a little disappointing because the cilantro flavor was barely noticeable. The red corn chip coating overpowered it. So for have the... More

We stopped in for lunch on a Monday. Food was excellent, service was prompt. Enchiladas were excellent. Highly recommend this place!

We can see why their world famous margaritas are world famous. We received excelleent customer service from Evelyn our hostess and our waiter. All three couples enjoyed their entrees. Don;t walk to Blue Coyote...run there!

Went to Blue Coyote, and while I believe they get a lot of tourist business because of their location On Palm Canyon, I think they could be really good by trimming the menu and doing some tasting of their dishes. Coyote has been around for about 30 years and while they serve acceptable Mexican food, we found it a little... More

I noticed on their menu they are celebrating their 20th year. That is just about as long as we have been eating there, every year or two when we visit Palm Springs. At that time, they had an excellent Southwest and Mexican cuisine. Over the years, they have migrated toward the Mexican side, and now there are only a few... More

My husband and I stopped in for happy hour drinks and apps and were told to have a seat at the bar. There weren't any spots in the bar, so we revisited the hostess. She checked with the bartender who said we could sit at a table and get happy hour prices. He waited on us - very accommodating. Had... More

The food was great. Patio dining was nice. Service a little hit and miss. No beer on tap, which is a negative for me. Husband liked the margarita on the rocks.

Went with friends and we had a lovely table outside. The table was under a canopy so it was perfect - not cold or windy. I didn't have a margarita (I am the driver) but others did - very strong and tasty! We had a shrimp appetizer and guacamole - both very good. I had the shrimp tacos. They were... More
