Four of us had dinner at this intimate upscale restaurant. We were seated outside by the pool with heating lamps on a cold Palm Springs night. The new chef, Patrice Martineau, has a menu that features seafood entrees with an Asian bent. There also are a few meat dishes along with a chicken entrée. Three of us had excellent fish... More

But worth the trip. It is extremely difficult to find Citron with the valet parking outside a small, covered, entryway. The restaurant is very small but elegant. Minimalist prepared food-you can actually taste the romaine hearts instead of the dressing. Refreshing-both for preparation and atmosphere. A small restaurant that was for those who want to taste their food in the... More

I've waited before writing a review for three visits under the Viceroy's new Chef: Patrice Martineau, to decide if my experience here was a fluke. It's not. It's sheer, unabashed, unequaled skill. Tonight I picked what I thought were the two hardest items on the menu: Hamachi Ceviche and Chateaubriand, and both were stellar. I've always thought that what separates... More

Finally something new, exciting, simple, tasty and different in Palm Springs! We were here for a special occasion, we sat outside, by the heater, there was live music and holiday lighting made the place look very special. But the highlight was definitely the food. The shrimp and Hamachi appetizers are fantastic, as well as the salmon and Chicken for Entrée.... More

We dined here over the thanksgiving holidays and were very pleased with the food and service. We had the pacific cod and swordfish for main courses and the ceviche starter. All were excellently prepared and the wine suggested was also very good. The total price of the meal was about $100.

First, I love Citron. The food, ambiance and service make them a go to whenever I am in Palm Springs. This last visit was no exception. Unfortuately, my dining companion is a vegan. She is the most laid back vegan ever. When we go to a fine dining restaurant, she usually just says "have the chef make something vegan, i'll... More

With a new chef, Citron is much improved. We were there for the special Beaujolais Nouveau and Cassoulet dinner to welcome the new vintage. The cassoulet was delicious and full of many different flavors. It would be welcome addition to their regular menu. Desert was Ile Flottante, also very special. I hope Citron will make this an annual event. Service... More

We get away to the Viceroy in Palm Springs quite often for a little get away, six times this year. We have always loved our experience there as the staff is so accommodating, friendly and helpful. We always love to experience the knowledge & humor of Harrison. The Viceroy is a special place, beautiful and charming...we always look forward to... More

Leaps and Bounds is how we'd describe our recent dining at Citron at the Viceroy Palm Springs - having dined there before, the new chef has a talent not seen at this scene, and we absolutely loved it ::: A cocktail at the small and classy bar before dinner was the way to start a great evening ::: Sitting poolside... CITRON at the Viceroy Hotel is simply the BEST! If you haven been there in a while it's time to revisit this amazing restaurant. New executive chef Patrice Martineau has created a new mouth watering menu and is introducing unique and exquisite taste sensations. The staff is excellent and made our dining experience memorable.
