A quiet respite with friendly service

We like this little getaway in the bottom floor of the Palm Springs Art Museum. Even on a very hot day we were able to sit outdoors in the zen-like sculpture garden with shade and a cool breeze. The menu is limited but everything is freshly made. The service is friendly, with volunteers providing... read more

I always enjoy eating here. The menu has a nice selection. Everything is always fresh, and pleasing to the eyes. Reasonably priced with nice decor. Museum membership will get you 10% discount. One small rant. The inside dining area is also the route to one of the sculpture gardens. If the museum is busy lot's of traffic walking through.

This is the cafe hidden downstairs in the PS art museum. Just simply a great little cafe with fresh and appealing food. I've only had the salads but the sandwiches look great. Everything is homemade and the staff is always attentive and friendly. It's an extra delight to be able to eat in the sculpture garden.

A great way to end or begin your visit to the Palm Springs Art Museum. Lots of excellent healthy food choices, and weather permitting a lovely outdoor patio with great art to enjoy.

This cafe offers a great respite after--or in the midst of--touring the Palm Springs Art Museum within which it is housed. Good food and wine, friendly service, nice outdoor sculpture garden eating area.

My husband and I have learned to stop by the Muse Cafe, adjacent to the delightful 443-seat Annenberg Theater (located in the Palm Springs Art Museum) prior to showtime. This lets us find parking near the Art Museum. But it's also lovely food at reasonable prices. Yesterday he had a fresh and good chicken Caesar salad and I had chicken... More

The theatre-level facility itself is surprisingly small and thus cramped compared to the parent museum's open architecture and spaciousness. The food counter and prep space - and the lone staff member - are located around a small corner, and not visible when one first enters: visually a bit shabby, to be honest. The staff needed to be roused from texting,... More

I was impressed with my food but also the staff at the Muse Cafe. If you get a chance go downstaires at the Art Museum to the Muse Cafe for something to eat. You will be happy you did.

You can find The Muse Cafe' in the lower level of the Palm Springs Art Museum. It is open during museum hours but you don't have to purchase a museum admission just to visit the restaurant. Use the north entrance to the museum, down the stairs. The ambiance is a clean, pleasant, modern look with black-and-white photos of various Hollywood... More
