We were sorry that it took us until our last night in Palm Springs to discover La Perlita, only a mile from here we were staying. Be forewarned that they close at 8, even on Saturday, so do not expect a late dinner. We had a delicious meal after a basket of tasty chips and spicy salsa, not the usual... More

A almost deserted strip mall hides a wonderful Mexican restuaruant! Although the surrondings are cafe the food is some on the best in the Valley. Chimihunga was excellent and prices very reasonable. You might have to wait to get in, so go early!

We tried La Perlita and the food is great. The atmosphere is rather cold and plain, but the food, service and drinks make up for it. The chicken chimichanga was the best I have every had and my partner raved about the chili relleno. This place is not easy to find, but well worth the effort. We will be returning... More

Ok - so based on the reviews here on Trip Advisor and the fact that this was rated the number 3 restaurant in Palm Springs I was very disappointed. There is no way that this place should be ranked that high. The food was decent - but there was absolutely nothing special about the food. I'm not sure what everyone... More

We recently discovered La Perlita and have been impressed with their family recipes, subtle tastes and an unusual menu with delicious offerings the local competition does not offer. The Las Casuelas chain is largely flash and good standard offerings with the most expensive margaritas. A new spot, Loco Charlie,s at Sunrise and Vista Chino is fair with room to grow.... More

From the outside it doesn't have the feel of a traditional Mexican restaurant, but inside the food and service was exactly what you would expect. The owner was very attentive and the service was very good. The food was also very good. This is a hidden gem and worth seeking out.

We met friends here for lunch on a Saturday. They do not take reservations so we did have to wait outside in the shade for about 25 minutes for a table for 4 at 12:30 PM. There is plenty of parking as it is in a strip mall. They start you off with the traditional chips and mild/hot salsas. I... More

A little out of the way, but I can almost guarentee Perlita is going to deliver better than any of the spots found on Palm or Indian Canyon. Just absolutely delicious Mexican food for a very reasonable price. I got Chicken Tacquitos, which I'd recommend whole-heartedly. My favorite part of Mexican is often refried beans, and I'd say Perlita offers... More
