Really wanted to try this place, based on the reviews… but unfortunately it is closed for the whole month of August! :( boo. Oh well, next time I guess.

We've been eating here since its conception and never disappointed. La Perlita is family operated and they are friendly, courteous and accommodating. The best pico de gallo, guacomole and salsa (all fresh). The food is clean and not greasy. We are glad we found this gem in the desert. Highly recommend this establishment!

We found the reviews to be convincing. Who can ever resist Mexican food on vacation? We enjoyed the friendly service. The margaritas were a great size and price. Even the chips and salsa were top notch. I spilt the Tres Amigos with a friend. We got one chile relleno, beef taco and chicken enchilada. At the end of the meal,... More

Went in with family not sure what to expect from the outside looked like a fast food restaurant. From the very start the family atmosphere was very welcoming. The meals are prepared with that authentic homemade flavor. Everyone in our group was pleased with their order. We just weren't sure which was better the hospitality or the taste of the... More

This family run establishment is worth going to find in an out of the way strip mall. Delicious food served with a smile and good prices. I had the Barbacoa and it was delicious, so good that I slurped up all the braising liquid and then mopped up what I could with the tortilla. Good size portions and reasonable price.... More

Had dinner this evening, The fish tacos were delicious, Breaded pollock with pico di gallo, cabbage and their special sauce. Barbacoa, pork and beef stew with onions and cilantro and corn tortillas. The meat was very tender and flavorful. Service was prompt and courteous. They have several glutin free meals on the menu. Wish we could have stayed another night... More

Food is authentic, well priced and served by individuals that like what they do. It's a family restaurant and it certainly feels like it. The food they serve is as go as it gets.

I have been eating Mexican food, tex mex, and all sorts of variations around for 50 years including mexico. This little off the main track was un like any I had ever eaten in. Simple décor, run by the whole family which makes you feel like a personal guest and serves the finest Mexican food I have ever had. Not... More

My partner and I went to La Perlita recently based on Trip Advisor reviews, and found it to be a very good value. The service was very friendly and efficient -- according to reviews, La Perlita is a family-run business, and everyone was very friendly. The house maragaritas are delicious, and the salsa really good (and spicy). We both had... More

I went with my partner to this restaurant because of the great reviews on trip adviser. Thank goodness for that, it was an amazing culinary experience. I have tried many of the other "rated" Mexican restaurants but the food here was the best. It is cooked fresh to order and it is so simple to tailor make your favourite meal... More
