What a fun place to eat! Friendly staff and clientele (and very often quite witty!) Food is terrific! Not to be missed is the prix fixe menu...tons of food and delicious! Mac and cheese is...ooh lala!

Trio is a popular restaurant on the main street in downtown Palm Springs. We had dinner there last night - the food was again very good. I had two vegetarian dishes - a roasted butternut squash salad, and fried artichoke hearts. Both were good. We usuly stop in to Trio when in town, the food and the drinks are consistently... More

We visit Palm Springs almost every year and make a point to dine at least once at Trio. We had great prime rib suggested by our favorite server, Kelly.

During a post-Christmas visit to Palm Springs, we ate at Trio twice! We loved the food and friendly service, not to mention the location. We had our two dogs with us, and they were welcomed with open arms. They even made an exception and let us reserve a table on the patio for Sunday brunch. The only thing I would... More

Ate at Trio's in mid Jan. 2015. We were taken to a table way in the back of the restaurant next to the "employee only' area, and asked for a different table so we wouldn't be near all the comings and goings of the staff. The next table we were given was under the air vent and we were freezing!... More

Great server with a lot of knowledge of the menu. Wonderful white sangria, red was good but white was really really good. The lamb shanks were amazing and the meat just fell off the bone, the goat cheese mash potatoes were heavenly, and the green beans... they were the best green beans I have ever eaten. The portions were very... More

About a year ago, we took visitors to Trio for brunch. What a horrible experience. The experience started with our waiter coming over and announcing that he could not talk with us or take our order at the moment because he had to " adjust his arora." From there it only got worse. Some of our drinks never appeared, food... More

It feels like a California restaurant. Not sure what I mean by that but it's a good thing. There is outdoor patio seating, but we opted for indoor dining. The patio is right along the sidewalk which is right on the street and did not appeal to us. Our waitress and the busboy were very nice and efficient. I had... More

We visited Trio while at a conference and had a business lunch there. It was a great experience. I wish we had had another night to go back and try it in the evening and check out the bar atmosphere. The décor and art is very fun and the restaurant is set up well for small niches for sort of... More

Trio's patio is a great place for people watching in the Uptown Design District. I've eaten here many times over the past 3 years and the food is always delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. They are pet friendly on the patio and your four-legged best friend will most likely get a big orange bowl of ice water. Go... More
