North End Overlooked

Enjoyed some take out from Chada last night. The tom yum soup was flavourful but lacked in texture a bit. Really enjoyed the Thai green curry over steamed rice and the pad thai was pretty good too. Overall - don't overlook the north end of town for food choices when in Palm Springs!

Really good Thai at a reasonable price. Extensive menu. Coconut milk soup was very good. Apps and main dishes also very good. I had spring rolls and tofu yellow curry. My favorite. A little warm on the day we were there possibly because it was an unexpected warm day in April.

The atmosphere in combination with the food is very authentic. The waiter was friendly and very busy because there were many guests at 9 pm. But we got the ordered meals very quickly. I would always come back to this place.

A largish restaurant with two rooms each with about 8 tables. There was one staff person for each room. service was slow. On the bright side the food was very good and the peanut sauce was excellent.

This place has the best seafood fried rice I have ever had! Big pieces of seafood and nice staff! The only bad thing was that I wish the size was bigger because I wanted another serving. If you are looking for some good seafood fried rice in the desert please go to Chada. And send me a plate😜

I hate to downgrade a good restaurant based on one incident but......We've eaten here and done take-out many times, and the results have been pretty consistent. They have Angel Wings, a common Thai dish, that seems to be missing from the other Thai restaurants in the desert. And I love their curries. But recently we did take-out and they seem... More

Chad Thai is on Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs,,California but not in the busy downtown area. Eating there is in a more relaxed atmosphere. I went with a friend and we enjoyed it. One of the dishes we had was the mango salad which is a new favorite of mine. I really like the lime sauce which really gives... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Riviera and for a change of pace we decided to walk to Chada Thai. I wish we would have stayed on the resort premises for food. Our first indication that it wasn't very good was we were the only patrons there. We started with the lettuce wraps. I had to dump some... More

Definitely my new favorite place to go and quite possible one of the best kept secrets in Palm Springs. The interior is basic but welcoming, the staff was so nice and charming, the food was absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I will be back for sure!

Very good food and prices in a run-down and non-descript location. We ate a delicious lunch with chicken and Pad Thai and soup for $ 8.95 each. If you find interiors important, this place is not for you. They seem to do significant take-out business. I feel for immigrants trying to make on a shoe string. There's a place in... More
