Nice Change of Pace

Went here last Friday night (5-11-12) with my wife and daughter after laying by the pool & meeting old friends. We were tired and decided to drive around & find a laid back out of the way place to eat. My wife spotted JJ's & in we went. The place is decent, the food is good & drinks are... read more

A smile from jj is all you get at this crappy place when he gets your money. Bland terrible food the 2 times I came here. Too bad he can not have better fresh food at this little hole in the wall. It could be a gold mine. I won't go back.

Four of us were recommended this restaurant. Just about the worst Mexican food any of us had ever eaten.

We took the advise from a Tripadisor review and went to this place. It's away from the busy section of Palm Canyon Drive. You might drive right pass it, but it's worth the time. Small, local and terrific food. We went for lunch and everything was tasty.

Great authentic Mexican style food. The ceviche was spicy and tart, the chelada's were thirst quenching, and the pull pork was amazing.

My husband and I drove by this cute little place heading into downtown Palm Springs this Saturday. After cruising the strip to see what's what we circled back to have dinner at JJ's. What a great choice! JJ himself served us. I am in love with with the tamale and chile relleno combination. YUM! We liked our meals and the... More

We had fajitas which were delicious, plenty of large shrimp, peppers, onion, avocado etc and well presented in friendly environment at a very reasonable price. We're going back again!

Had a burrito take out. Service was very friendly and quick. Reasonably priced. Food was good if maybe a little bland.
