Great menu and service, small portions

Have been to Cheeky's twice in the last few months for brunch. The outdoor patio is lovely and a lot of fun. The staff is fantastic at handling a very frenetic scene, managing both the crowd and service with ease and grace. The food is creative and quite good but I have a few complaints--the... read more

Cheeky's is an odd kind of place – for a start it closes at 2:00 pm. But it had good references so my friends and I lined up – it doesn't take reservations. We were seated reasonably quickly and the menu looked good. I ordered the Brussels sprouts mash-up with scrambled eggs, and started with a lemonade. The lemonade was... More

After three visits including the latest on Monday February 23rd, you can see why people are willing to que up for 10 to 45 minutes for breakfast, brunch or lunch at Cheeky's. The staff puts together an ever changing unusual bill of fare to wet even the most adventuresome palete. Love a restaurant where it's fun to come for a... More

The website photo was misleading, it seemed to feel very Palm Springs..... However once seated this restaurant could be anywhere.... Food was over priced and something that could easily be replicated at home for far less. Check out other options: king's highway for example! Also, if you decide to try it, I found not was quite chilly in the morning... More

We knew it would e a long wait, as we arrived with our party of 4 adults and 3 little kids shortly after they opened at 8 and ended up 26th on the list. We were seated an hour and a half later, and the staff could not have been nicer. They took our orders right away and served us... More

After a 45 minute wait, we were hoping it was worth it. It wasn't. The dishes ranged from lousy to good with the balance falling to the average. My dish was a mix of sticky rice without any seasoning, a wonderfully well cooked, absolutely flavourless pulled pork and an egg. Without the egg, the dish would have had no flavour... More

Went to cheeky's for breakfast - great and then again for dinner - again great. Great food, great service and good prices. And the desert cakes are one of a kind in Palm Springs - awesome and delicious!!

Worth visiting at least once just for the flight of bacon (one piece each of jalapeño, Doritos, smoked applewood, and two more for $5), and for the unusual, inventive menu, but my piña colada waffle with carmelized pineapple was disappointingly small for $10 and just okay. We waited 30 minutes for a table on a Wednesday morning. Glad to try... More

As a local, notice this place always seems to have a line on weekends... mostly because it is SMALL and from neighboring hotels. Unfortunately NOT worth the cafeteria ambience, overpriced plates of just ho-hum, nothing fantastic to rave about breakfast. Better value at so many other places in town!
